    I learned from this book that fish like Glowy are called bioluminescent and there is a kind of shark that is vegetarian. Also, kindness can give you a certain glow from the inside out. We can all be like Glowy when we help others and accept their differences. Good book for preschool and kindergartner age.

    I absolutely love Glowy and the Misunderstood Shark! This super cute book has the most adorable and sparkly! I love that is speaks about kindness within and that different is okay. I also love that it is funny and has facts in the back of the book. I absolutely love that it speaks about plastic and human trash and how we can help. Super cute book!

    This book was very colorful. The beginning felt a bit off - hard to follow. I am guessing it would have made more sense if I had read the book before it in the series? I personally thought that having the shark be a vegetarian, being made fun of because being different, saying a turtle swallowed a plastic straw but coughed it up, the turtles getting caught in a net of garbage, etc. felt like maybe too many "lessons" that kept the story from having a better flow that I would have like to have felt when reading it. After saying that, Glowy is a cute fish that I enjoyed.
