    Teresa covers all the basics. Her enthusiasm and desire to help folks navigate the difficult Waters of starting a business while maintaining one's Christian values was evident. This book is definitely a book to read and then a book review as a reference during the process of starting up. I'm actually starting a non-profit, and gleaned quite a lot from her book which is for about for-profit businesses. I have also chatted with Teresa and she's the real deal. There's no pretense here. I believe everything she says can be trusted to be accurate and reliable at the time it was written. And since she avoided trendy and industry specific topics, I believe it will be timeless. The only thing that might change would be parameters for different business structures.

    Wow! I recently opened my own LLC, and reading this book opened my eyes in a way I never expected.

    I love how the author encourages me throughout to pray and include God in my daily decision making. I especially love the way she includes a call to believe in the very beginning of the book, references to scripture throughout, mentions of stewardship of the blessings God has given you and so very much more. I believe this content was God inspired and is also scriptural in what it conveys to modern day entrepreneurs.

    As mentioned previously, I just created my own LLC, but upon reading this book I realized I had made a glaring error by not including an operating agreement when I set it up. I'm now able to research how to correct that thanks to the excellent advice given in this book.

    Before you think of acting on that God-given idea that popped into your head, you need to look at ‘The Spirit-Led Entrepreneur’; a succinct, straight-forward, practical, down-to-Earth, 13-step guide. Teresa Kuryn Kohler’s book should be required reading for all entrepreneurs regardless of religious status. If you’re hesitant or not strong on the religious aspects of the book, keep an open mind. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I was.

    It’s an easy read, even for a layman like me. In fact, I felt like I was sitting in Teresa’s kitchen having coffee with her while discussing what was needed to take my business from first concept through to the ultimate exit strategy. Her companion workbook is a practical, convenient way of getting your business plan down on paper. Go through the steps, do the work and you can’t miss.

    This is not a book I would normally pick up, full stop. However, I’m glad I did. As I delved deeper into it, I realized Teresa’s process is very logical. It’s functional approach and realistic view regarding what makes a business a success, while blending Christian values into the mix, is unique. I realized the quotes and prayers had a familiar ring to them. That’s because they’re expressed in many affirmation and visualization routines.

    Reading the ‘The Spirit-Led Entrepreneur’ is the first step to ensuring your business is on solid ground.
