Passenger from Greece Kindle Edition
An unexpected romance ignites and burns hot …
But betrayal sears deeper in the heart.
In this beautifully written and heartfelt story, the innocence of youth and first love fan the destruction of lives. Written in a classic tale of love, lust, and criminal behavior, Passenger from Greece takes readers on a sensuous, visually told epic tale of Olivia Reid. A feisty, resourceful, smart and beautiful international flight attendant, Olivia embarks on a seductive affair that spans the Caribbean, New York City, Crete and ocean voyages on the yacht The Adonis.
Passenger from Greece explores the bonds and complexities of family, the relationships of children and their mothers and fathers, ill-fated romance, and criminal behavior threatening lives and creating havoc in certain parts of the Caribbean and Greece. It will have readers loving, hating and sympathizing with the main characters, while all at once questioning the collision of emotions that has taken over their very souls. This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys stories filled with mysterious intrigue and sizzling romantic moments.
“He who sleeps with dogs will rise with fleas…” Olivia always wondered why her fiercely religious grandmother had been so crude.

Review
Norma Jennings has done it again! In her new novel, she takes us on a journey with heroine, Olivia Reid, that has us sitting on the edges of our seats and wondering what will happen next. Olivia is beautiful, savvy, cheeky and in love. She is a flight attendant, and we travel with her both to foreign lands and along her life path. In her inimitable style, Jennings bonds us with Olivia, and while we may disagree with the choices our heroine makes, we love her, nevertheless. But in Olivia's defense, who can resist a passenger from Greece? This novel is truly a woman's action thriller with romance, and an excellent read. --Dr. Bernice deGannes, College Professor
One of the top 500 book reviewers, Cyrus Webb, says, Norma Jennings has done it again. Passenger from Greece is one of those books that lures you in and doesn't let go. --Cyrus Webb

She now lives in Florida and often visits her grandmother's old sugarcane plantation, Twickenham, in Jamaica. Her website is www.normajennings.com.
Jennings has presented at large events as an executive, at writers' conferences, at author conferences hosted by the Jamaican Consul General, and as commencement speaker at her Alma Mater in Texas.
After her first two novels, DAUGHTER OF THE CARIBBEAN and PASSENGER FROM GREECE, Jennings was named one of 50 Great Writers, in the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Book Awards. Jennings has completed her fourth novel, MAROONED, about a woman Maroon warrior's vicious fight against slavery, leading to independence from the British almost 40 years before the U.S. achieved their own independence from England. CLOSURE, INTERRUPTED, Jennings' fifth novel in development, is a story of reclamation after the criminal betrayal of a loving husband.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2023I really enjoyed Ms. Jennings Book 2. I kept my attention, was an easy read and really enjoyed the story line. Looking forward to the next book!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2016This was a great read. The details throughout this book kept my attention through the story line of disaster, adventure, intrigue, romance and recovery. It was a roller coaster ride that left me wanting more.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2017This book had to much filler. Unimportant things that detested from the story good premise but not enough to keep the reader involved
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2015I couldn't put it down. Maybe because of the instant connection to Olivia, maybe because in my young, wild dreams, I too, had visions of becoming a flight attendant - soaring through the skies of mystery and intrigue. And this remarkable read is not short of both. Our history especially, that of Caribbean people's reads like a mystery novel. How well I remember, the kaleidoscope of twists and turns, the fabrication of lies into truths to save face in my own family and that of my friends. Ironically I had a wise Grandmother named Edith. So I feel as though I know Sedith and understand when she said from the depths of her trials "trust but always validate".
Norma Jennings, writes with such insight, into family dynamics: mother-daughter, and intergenerational relationships that it just about takes your breath away. And the exquisite prose! As an avid Jane Austin fan, intensely fine and precise writing such as we have in Passenger from Greece, I would re-read passages: some aloud - just to savor the sound and sensation they made.
This book is not just for reading but for experiencing and ...yes! Living vicariously through this exotic and courageous heroine: Like me, you won't be able to put it down until you've sipped on the very last traces and endured the final surprise.
Thank you my friend and sister for this gift - and now ladies and gentlemen help me welcome the esteemed Dr. Aleem, the artist to whom we give thanks for the beautiful photography that wraps its arms around these words.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2015Passenger from Greece explores the controversial and menacing issue of cocaine seizures and illicit drug trafficking in a classic tale of criminal behavior, love, and lust. The novel’s main character, Olivia Reid, is a young, feisty, yet innocent international flight attendant from the islands, who embarks on a dangerous adventure and a seductive affair that spans the Caribbean, New York City, and Crete. Eventually, as the flames of desire that consume Olivia are fanned by deception, lust and greed, she painfully finds her way back to her ancestral home.
While the book is at its core a cautionary tale about love-gone-wrong, it also touches on deception at the deepest family level. Passenger from Greece explores how familial relationships, flawed characters, secrets, and lies can destroy lives and create deeply felt wounds that go straight to the heart.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2015Passenger from Greece is a page turner! If you read Daughter of the Caribbean then you are already in love with the strong willed Olivia. This story draws you in and you feel right there with her as she makes her decisions and falls in love, battles with family relationships and still remain true to her beliefs. Brilliantly written, a thriller and a romance, but you wonder - is her head going to rule her heart or is she ever going to reconsider her decisions. "Never be afraid to trust....but always remember to verify." Hope there is sequel Ms. Jennings!
