- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2023Promised to King Javier, Princess Ilsa is willing to do whatever it takes to save her country from war. With his sudden death, Ilsa agrees to marry his brother, Santigao not only to keep peace in both lands, but to make needed advances for the countries. I enjoyed how they not only learned to work together, yet find love. Though it wasn’t easy with some of the twists and suspense along the way to their Happily Ever After. Christine has written a fantastic romance with just the right amount of spice and drama.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2019King Javier of Valdoria was to marry Princess Ilsa van Winnsen of Menkara; he didn’t love her, it was an arranged marriage. His brother Crown Prince Santiago de la Fuente of Valdoria had always coveted Ilsa. Javier and Santiago never agreed on any policy to improve the country’s economy. Then everything changes…
WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is a longish novella featuring fictional royalty. Right off the bat, there were some jaw-dropping twists I never expected; I was really taken aback when Santiago died, and the surprises kept on coming! There was quite a bit of suspense, which I definitely loved. The two fictional countries sounded plausible; I always say that less is more, and there were just enough details to make them seem believable. I loved the descriptions of the Mediterranean kingdoms, all sparkling and sunny and blue, and the political intrigue was quite believable. WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is also super steamy, but very romantic; and it was lovely to see how the romance progressed. Santiago is a darling: understanding, caring and so patient; an alpha male but a not bully; Ilsa and Santiago are a perfectly matched couple. WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is a quick read, very enjoyable, with brilliant dialogues. Another great read from Christine Glover!
I read it originally in my Kindle copy of Royal and Reckless box set.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2019I loved this story! Prince Santiago and Lisa share great chemistry. Both of them are dutiful souls ready to do whatever needs to be done for their countries--even if this includes a marriage of convenience! I enjoyed the twists and how their relationship evolved. They had emotional wounds and healed each other. Recommend!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
I love Ilsa, she's a brilliant character! All the characters are strong and creative.
The storyline is interesting, with a lot going on in the small islands that both Isla and Santiago come from. In order to keep their countries from going to war they have to marry, but there's espionage and a murderer out there....
What will happen and will they both survive?
This is a great read, I really enjoyed it
