    The Marriage Ultimatum by Christine Glover
    This is Italian Tycoon Stefano Durante and Roxy Baron's story.

    Roxy and Stefano had a relationship and gets pregnant. She tried contacting Stefano but due someone's interference he never got Roxy's message. All Roxy knows is that she and her child have been abandoned.

    Three yeas later Roxy and Stefano's accidentally cross paths. Immediately Stefano realizes that the child is his. He will do anything to not lose his child again.

    Roxy and Stefano get married but it's just suppose to be a marriage of convenience until Stefano's grandfather dies. This story goes through their journey of rediscovering their love and building trust. Will their trust issues prevent them from having their chance at true love?

    A great story passion, secrets, live, family, and learning to trust in people. I loved Stefano's family and it's just what Roxy needed in her life.

    First I have to say I absolutely loved this book.
    Stefano was in turns a jerk and a sweet enduring hero. When you realize how many times he had been tricked and lied to you understand he has a hard time trusting or believing in love.
    Roxy was a loving mother, and was trying to do what was best for her son. She had had a rough childhood and an awful family. She could have been bitter but she worked hard to rise above her roots.
    Together Stefano and Roxy are a great couple, as long as they can each be their true selves. As with any marriage of convenience story they had their ups and downs, it's how they handle those that make this book so good.

    This book has been on my tbr for years, and I'd been putting off buying it because the price was so high for such a short book. Especially for an author that I'm unfamiliar with. But I received a book credit and just went for it.

    Unfortunately, it wasn't good for me. The writing was reminiscent of the Harlequin's that I read 20+ years ago, with third person narrative and flat, one-dimensional writing. I was never able to get into the story, never felt the emotions that were supposed to be going on. Character's would supposedly be angry in one scene, then fine a paragraph later. The same was true with conflicts going on, one minute we're not going to give in to the blackmailers (yes, plural - one for him and another for her) then the next paragraph, we're sending them money. It just didn't work for me, on any level.

    Italian billionaire and adrenaline junkie Stefano Durante hurt himself while hang gliding in Georgia, while he was there for work. Sitting in the hospital room, he sees the woman he had a fling with three years ago, Roxy Baron, she is with a little boy. Stefano could have loved her but for the secrets she hid from him, and he sent her packing. Stefano’s grandfather is dying; the old man is set in his ways, and he wants Stefano to settle down if his grandson is to become CEO of Durante Enterprises. It turns out that little Matthew, Roxy’s son, is also Stefano’s, so he strikes a bargain with Roxy: they will enter a marriage of convenience for as long as Stefano’s grandfather is alive.

    Often marriages of convenience in contemporary romance don’t work too well, which is not the case in THE MARRIAGE ULTIMATUM, because of the circumstances and Roxy’s conditions, it made sense. Stefano and Roxy don’t hate each other too long, which was a relief, the attraction has always been there, however trust for both of them isn’t. I felt their prickly situation was dealt with satisfactorily at the beginning, however I thought Roxy acted stupidly, when she should have known better than repeat a previous mistake. I had managed to warm up to Stefano until he overreacted and overstepped the boundaries. I felt his reaction was unwarranted and quite unpleasant. I, personally, could not stay with a man who acted that way. What about the next time a similar issue happens? I thought Gian redeemed himself, but not Stefano. The numerous sex scenes are hot and sensuous, the pace brisk, and the writing excellent, but the latter part of the book did not work for me.

    Stefano Durante sees his old girlfriend, Roxy Baron, he discovers he is a dad and the timing couldn’t have been better. After marrying her to secure his rightful place in the family business, he takes them back to Italy and while cautious she is out to get money from him, he finds that the attraction is still there. With a love for their son in common, they both realize they belong together, but the road to paradise is not always easy. A great book from a terrific writer!

    Great read but I think it could have been better. I think Stefano should have graveled more. The chemistry between Stefano and Roxy are Smokin Hot!! This book is a a quick read. I absolutely love secret baby books.

    You get two tropes in one in this sexy new read by Christine Glover! I love marriage of convenience stories, add in a secret baby and you have me hooked! Stefano and Roxy had a fling 3 years ago. When Stefano sees Roxy with a little boy at the hospital, he realizes that the boy is his son. Stefano and Roxy get married and can't deny their passion for each other. Can they overcome the past? If you are looking for a hot read with excellent writing then I would recommend you read this book!
