    Phoebe is young and tired of her family pushing her around so she and her boyfriend leave. After spending her money, he leaves her too, in a small trailer park where the manager befriends her and Phoebe decides to start again for herself. The job she finds is not in her passion of photography but puts money in her pocket.
    Loved the characters and personalities that cross her path. The storyline is quick with details but ends too soon. Quite the situation to be in at a young age but she takes a firm stand on surviving.

    Phoebe has a chance to escape her boring family, leaving town with Bobby. But before long, he leaves her. She has a trailer to live in, but no money, no job, and no car. She finds a job - not a great one - but she gives it her all, trying every day to better. Like the other young women in this series, Phoebe is quite an inspirational character - she's got a fiery independence, and a smile for everyone she sees, making friends every where she goes. One of those friends helps her to turn her photo hobby from a passion to a profession. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    While this is a cute story and with all that goes wrong for Phoebe, you really do want to see things finally go right for her. Just as the start to make a turn for the better, the book ends. 😢 I would have loved to see an epilogue update to see how things worked out for her….

    a bittersweet series of adventures on the road of self discovery for one young woman who loves dogs, flowers, photos, fun and who has a knack for trouble

    Phoebe Foxglove loves to take photos with her cell phone. I can relate to that. The day she loses her cell phone—I can relate to that too—becomes her lucky day. Who’d a thought. Life works in mysterious ways. This book is listed as a small-town sweet romance (so, I almost didn’t read it.) But I’m glad that I did. It included humor, mystery, tragedy, and a special dog. That is one of the author’s trademarks: There is a dog in every novel she writes. There is one special added attraction in Phoebe’s story. Read to find out what it is.

    This was a cute, sweet, and very enjoyable clean romance novella. I really liked the character of Phoebe and the many trials she had to overcome in order to find her HEA. Yes, I would recommend this book.
