    This book, Ripples of Mind, was a great follow on to the first in the series, Linked. Only Ripples of Mind was even better! The writing in this series is a very unique and fresh subject matter that intrigues the imagination. I can't wait for the next book!!

    This companion book to Linked seems to mirror it and that brings up a recall of the original tale. The idea that objects can contain memories and links into the past along with a couple of other mystical links like those in-between man and animal is once again visited upon us. And there's also something behind the closet door.
    The reader needs to pay attention, the writing is a soft easy pull that is delivered in a clear and precise manner. Before you know you are slipped into the life of a trapped boy, and the memories and actions of a father that has passed on.
    Wedged into the mix is a mother who is caught in an emotional trap of hanging onto the husband, protecting her special son, their cat, the sister, her friends, her job, and a cop who's crazy about her. All in all in it makes for an interesting, different kind of read, and it's a real page-turner.
