More Dark Tales of Cryptids and Park Rangers Kindle Edition
Enter the forest once again, flashlight trembling as you search for the unnatural sounds you heard just outside the perceived protection of the light from the campfire. Don’t worry, I’m sure it was nothing. It definitely wasn’t a bloodthirsty creature watching you from the shadows, waiting for you to let your guard down so it can creep up and grab you unawares. I’m sure it just wants to have you for dinner. Umm… I meant to have you over for dinner. Yeah, that’s what I meant to say.
These eight stories will transport you back to the forest, where nothing is certain except danger, and staying alert means staying alive… hopefully.
Remember the rookie park ranger who had to endure some strange rules in a fire tower? Well, he’s back. This time he’s guarding a warehouse. Because nothing could ever go wrong inside a mysterious warehouse on the border of a forest, right? His story continues in, ‘I used to work in a fire tower with some strange rules. I’ll never make that mistake again.’
Don’t worry though, we have plenty of park rangers being pursued by various creatures such as Dogman, Skinwalker, even Bigfoot. One of our rangers wanders into an abandoned mining town out west and finds more than he ever wanted. And of course, our returning ranger from the fire tower has not one but two stories telling his continued terrifying tales.
So sit back, relax (if you can) and enjoy these tales of terror. Just remember, everything is true, even if it’s not.
Don’t read them alone in the dark.

About the author

Step right up and take a look at these fine attractions.
For my latest offering, I present, 'Misadventures of a Cryptid Hunter'. A tale full of adventure, dark humor, and more cryptids than you can shake a stick at. Here are a few things readers are saying about the book.
"What an amazing story!"
"Good dose of comedy along with some scary close calls."
"This was an unexpected gem."
"On its own, it stands as an instant classic."
"5 minutes in and I’m laughing my butt off."
"I REALLY REALLY HOPE this is the first part of a series!"
"My god this story was so beautifully descriptive and interesting the entire way through!"
"I always love cryptid hunter stories, but this one was incredibly hilarious."
"This should be made into A MOVIE!!!"
"The humor is on another level."
"This was a fantastically written story."
For the latest short horror stories, I recommend 'Dark Tales of Cryptids and Park Rangers', along with its sequel, 'More Dark Tales of Cryptids and Park rangers'. Both are collections of short stories that were quite popular on Reddit and Youtube as well. With famous creepypasta narrators like Mrcreeps, Lighthousehorror, and Swampdweller, among others making videos of my stories that have been viewed over 5 million times in the last two years.
If you're in the mood for a mystery, then my upcoming novel, 'Identity' should fit the bill. As a bonus, if you've already read my first crime novel, 'One on One', Identity is the sequel.
If you're looking for an amazing collection of flash fiction horror stories each told in 500 words or less, then look no further than the original, the one that started it all, 'Fragments of Fear'. Yes, that's right folks, everything from a haunted mansion to a mysterious song sung in a dark forest, to a story told in reverse, all this plus 17 more stories waiting to tantalize and terrify you.
As we move on down to the next attraction we come to, 'Fragments of Fear 2'. This horror collection is also not for the faint of heart. These stories are a little longer to give them more room to breathe. They include an award winner and my first multi-chaptered short story with an outtake reel at the end. In between are some controversial stories that may make you mad but they'll also make you think.
Heading to our next attraction, we have, 'Fragments of Fear 3'. This third installment is the biggest and baddest of the series so far. It starts with a serial killer and ends with another award winner. In between you'll witness an interview by a sadistic doctor, a viral outbreak, a living pumpkin, the birth of an unlikely superhero, another story told in reverse, and much more.
If you're hungry we can slide on by Mr. Smiley's in, 'Fragments of Fear 4'. Mr. Smiley is always dying to see his guests happy. Just pull up a chair and he'll be happy to regal you with a tale or two. But beware, his stories might scare you to death. Just be sure the chair he offers you isn't plugged in.
If you make it out of Mr. Smiley's maybe you should check out, 'Fragments of Fear 5'. This latest edition in the series has two very different stories about the coronavirus outbreak. If those suit your taste, you may also like the tales about freezing to death, a mysterious sound, a deadly phone call, a possessed shadow, an assassin, a tale told from a zombie's point of view, and much more, including a story where you pick your favorite ending.
And if you liked the themes in Fragments 5, 'Fragments of Fear 6' should trip your trigger.
If you liked 'Dark Tales of Cryptids and Park Rangers' then check out my upcoming release, 'Dark Tales of Cryptids and Truck Drivers'.
If short horror isn't your thing, then try my first crime fiction novel, 'One on One'. If you've ever believed the system was too easy on criminals and victims should have the right to deal out punishment, then this book is for you. When a young boy has his father brutally taken from him, he starts down a long road that could lead him to redemption, or revenge. Choices are the main theme in this novel. Will he find his father's killer? What will he do if he does? Will he make the right choice?
After that, make sure you read the sequel, 'Identity (a one on one novel)'.
If you're looking for the kiddie rides, I have just the thing as well. My first Young Adult novel, 'Endzone', is about a young boy who loves football. When he is befriended by a professional football player, his football dreams come true. But when the player gets injured he musters the courage to stand up to the commissioner of the Professional Football Association to help his friend. Will his courage be enough to get the help his friends needs, or is there something else the commissioner is trying to protect? For those who love football but hate what it's become.
And what's Halloween without toilet paper, corn, eggs, and a good old fashioned scary story. In my short story, 'Just Desserts', you get all of those rolled into one. As young Johnny and his friends soon find out, some people are best left alone.
If it's suspense you seek, try my novelette, 'The Mall'. When Todd and his friends plan a fun night in an empty mall, they had no idea what they were in for. What happens when a simple game turns from fun to dangerous to deadly?
If you like video games, you can beta test, 'Playback'. My short mystery where a video game provides the clues to a murder and possibly more.
If zombies are your thing, then shuffle over to, 'Dear John, a letter to the undead'. My short story about the beginning of the zombie apocalypse.
For an old fashioned parable type story, 'Golden Tongue is your thing. When a young man receives an incredible gift will he share it with others, or will greed consume him?
As for me, I'm merely your humble guide here to show you my wares.
I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. I'm a former Corrections Officer turned Author. I rely on good people like you to help me fulfill my dream of quitting my day job and becoming a full-time author.
If you do purchase and read any of my work, I thank you in advance and also ask that you post a review. It doesn't have to be much, just a few sentences telling what you thought about the book, and it will help me immensely.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2024The book goes fast and the edge. It's a mixture of horror & humor. I admire good style of writing.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2024I typically don’t read short stories but with common MC these hung together pretty well. I like the situations the MC fins himself in and how he reacts.
I will be getting the other books.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2023A Ranger who used to man a fire tower with weird rules has a new job. The rules here are even weirder. What happens if he breaks one? A park ranger finds out the rumors about the abandoned mining town are nothing compared to the truth. Guarding wind mills seems like an easy job, but it is harder than you think. What was that thing? These and other tales will have you on the edge of your seat. Creepy read full of monsters. Going in the woods is not safe.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2023These books are too weird and creepy for me. These stories are way too "freaky and far fetched" for old folk like me!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2024Two stars, because one story is good. Told from the cryptid's point of view.
Eight stories. Five (5) are just written down computer games. In my opinion. Of the five, one has a guest apperance of a cryptid.
Maybe I am too old for this, 67.
I liked 'Misadventures of a Cryptid Hunting Park Ranger'.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2024These tales of creepy critters simply kick butt. You start to think," But I read these before". No, you havent. If your a fan of " Creepypastas", these stories are definitely must reads.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2024Kept me glued to this story. I couldn't put it down
- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2023Second book I've read by this author and found it just as enjoyable as the first. The book needs some editing though as the author doesn't seem to know how to begin the majority of sentences with "I".
