    Award-winning author, Julie Kusma, currently lives in the United States, where she pens short stories, children’s books, inspirational books, educational books, YA, and speculative fiction novels. She has a fondness for psychology and philosophy, all finding a place on the pages of the pieces she pens. Several of her paranormal and horror stories and a few poems are available in audio format on her YouTube channel.

    In 2020, Julie was honored with the moniker “Queen of Horror” by contemporaries in the writing community. She released The Devil’s Scribe in 2021, a dramatized short tale of her origin as a horror writer.

    She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness, a Master of Science in Health Education, and a Master of Art in English, Creative Writing, and Fiction. Her health sciences studies generated interest in the mind-body-spirit connection, and she writes about the impact our strengths and weaknesses have on our human experience. In particular, she has a fascination with the Jungian Shadow.

    Affiliations: Horror Authors Guild (HAG) member since 2021, Horror Writers Association (HWA) member since 2020, Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society member since 2017, National Society of Leadership and Success member since 2017, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) member since 2015, Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society member since 2012, and the Golden Key International Honor Society member since 2011.

    I thought I'd read the best poetry about love with the last book I read by Julie and Derek. I was proved wrong. This is the best ever book of love poetry I've ever read. It's fitting that I read this book on Valentine's Day, no less. Within these pages and words written, I found myself and my husband doing the same things. A single embrace is enough. One kiss is enough. I'm with my soul mate, and so are the two writers of this book. Every word rang true. Boldly, they bled their hearts' true loving thoughts. ❤️
