    The Ashes of Sagacity is a satisfying conclusion to this 5-book series. I was hooked from page 1, and caught up in the mystery underlying the various cabals. Goodin tells a good, solid tale and weaves the lives of his characters together artfully. The projection of current technology trends into his future, dystopian world is feasible and his characters respond with appropriate mindsets (i.e., not just current minds translated to a different world). I definitely recommend this book!
