Will love save their family or doom them to lives not worth living?

When Attila The Hun captures Annora, her family moves heaven and earth to save her. Found among the captives after Attila destroys the city of Aquileia she reveals herself to be the daughter of a woman he hates and lusts for. Attila won’t sell her or ransom her. She is more valuable than any amount of gold - to him.

Surrounded by enemies, Annora gets word to her family that she is alive in Attila’s camp. But will his hate keep her alive long enough for them to get her out? Or will she die as a starving beggar in Attila’s city?

Here are pirates, Huns, beautiful powerful women, handsome men, alternate history, and the indomitable spirit of a family. And Ancient Rome at its lethal best.
