And so they are about to stop following the rules as well. Will detective Miller decide to work for heaven? Killing bad guys for the good? Will he convince his partner Harland to join him? Or is it too much? And some humor.

Although not quite ready to retire, homicide Detective Ted Miller was thinking about it. He certainly did not need the money; it was all about putting the killers behind bars. However, things were taking a strange turn. Ted stumbles into the world of the supernatural where he is enlisted to help fight the battle between good and evil.

Detective Ted Miller was in a trance. His body had been taken over by the spirit of an old woman, a former nun from Florida. He was in his car racing to the park but was unaware of his location. Miller did not even know what he was up to. Even though it was his body that was heading for Central park. His mind had him at some slot machine at some unknown casino, with every hammer pull being a winner. Ted drove through the streets like a professional Indy car driver, safely running red lights as the Sister knew of the impending danger. He went on the sidewalk for a short distance, then on two wheels.
Once in the park and out of his car, he ran zombie-like. Although Miller moved much faster than one of those creatures from a movie. A young couple watched him rush by and were killing themselves laughing as it was quite a humorous sight. The nun had been in spirit form for over a hundred years and had a tough time controlling his legs.

In the forest stood Joe Henry Fraser. He was carrying the moonlit body over his right shoulder, surrounded by January’s crisp air. As the strong wind pushed thin clouds through the night sky, they partially covered the full moon every minute or so. On a solitary trek, he was the only one in this area for miles. The cold winter forest was not a place that most aspired to be with such a cold front moving in.

Sun-Jade and Moon Diamond. How smart is a cat? Smarter than I ever imagined. When Sun-Jade wants out, she goes to the door, stands up and hits the doorknob repeatedly, because she knows that you turn it to open.

When Moon Diamond wants to be hand-fed in my room, he jumps on the corner of the bed. When he wants to get in the window, he jumps on the other end, I come over and bend down and he jumps on my back and takes the elevator to my desk. (not that he can't just jump up there himself)

The author's cats that make him rise at 5 each morning to keep him on his toes.
