Christine Myers has been a science fiction fan since seeing the original “Day the Earth Stood Still” at age eight. Her favorite subgenre is science fiction romance with interstellar space travel and a bit of space opera. Among the most influential in her work are the Lazarus Long novels by Robert Heinlein including “Time Enough for Love”, and Marta Randall’s "Journey." She loves Star Trek, Firefly, Farscape, and Veteran Cosmic Rockers, the Moody Blues.

After spending years trying to get her work published by traditional publishers, she discovered KDP and became an Indie Author/Publisher. This means she does it all from writing to publishing.

    I loved it. The cyborgs deserve their HEA after all they sacrificed for the Federation and Vinder was determined to find his promised genetic mate.when he found Claire she was living in the territory of an insane self proclaimed king. The nutcase wanted Claire for himself and caused then all sorts of problems. But stealing Vinder’s woman was the last straw and Vinder made sure to end his rule. With action, danger and lots of naked bonding, this book entertained.

    Vinder is on a mission - to find his genetic mate. All cyborgs are promised a genetic mate as a reward for their fighting in the war. Vinder wanders into this town that is ruled by a cruel overlord who is also part cyborg. Vinder watches as a young man is whipped to within an inch of his life. He knows he can help save this young man and he immediately recognizes his mate in the young man's house. Now Vinder's mission is to protect and care for his mate Claire and save all the towns people. They all travel to a town where they will be safe and can build their lives. It's a long journey but they make it before Christmas. Then the worst happens when Claire is kidnapped by the overlord. This book has lots of action, danger and steamy romance with a charming ending.

    A vat created cyborg that fought a 100 year war, promised a mate as a reward, goes on a journey to find his promised genetic mate. When he finds her, she in a village ruled by a inhanced mad man. It will take his wits and determination to get her free and safe from him and build a life they dream about. It's on Christmas Eve that the crazed man kidnaps his mate and Vinder will kill to get Claire back.
    Wonderful characters, steamy, danger, adventure, action, genetic mates, Christmas celebration, and happily-ever-after.

    What's not to love about a handsome, brave Cyborg who finds his mate and rescues a whole town. Great book to read during the Christmas season. I truly love the Cyborg series and spin-offs that go along with this book. I highly recommend you check them all out.
