In Twisted Fate, Jeanie Wolfe offers thoroughly crafted intrigue. We follow the course of events from Robin's perspective. It was exciting to check on multiple puzzling leads along with her. Robin is a lovable character. She is determined to find the truth about Bailey's murder despite the many challenges and dangers she and Lee face. Robin is compassionate and kind. She displays deep insights into human nature and always follows her heart. Other characters are also very well developed. Jeanie uses contrasts to describe Aunt Myrna, an interesting secondary character. Myrna can be curt and straightforward, yet she lives in a cozy cottage. Scents of lavender and lilac complement Myrna's complex portrait. The author's writing style is almost succinct, and the dialogues are to the point, making Twisted Fate a smooth and quick read. Jeanie explains the effects of the poison that killed Bailey in an easy-to-understand way. The narrative is captivating and logical, with a believable love storyline.     Another exciting and suspenseful read. Many twists and turns. It took me awhile to start the book but once I did I finished it in two days. I definitely recommend this series as I will definitely continue this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

    This is book 2 in the author’s Starry Hill Cozy Mystery Series.

    Robin Ingals and Lee Kellerman have another murder to help solve. Robin and Lee have been dating for three months and their relationship has grown stronger. Robin’s business is striving. Lee has graduated from college and is working as an intern with the sheriff.

    Robin’s good friend, Bailey, has died suddenly after drinking wine laced with cyanide. Robin and Lee find their lives in danger as they try to solve Bailey’s untimely death. There are many suspects. Was it Bailey’s boyfriend? Her boss? Her aunt? Her half brother?

    This is a fun book to read watching Robin and Lee’s feelings for each other deepen as they work together to gather clues to solve the murder. It’s okay that I solved the crime before they did.

    I received an ARC and this is my voluntary review. A good series that has great characters, action, suspense and lots of twists in the plot. Robin wants to find the murderer of her friend and we are given an action packed read that is hard to put down. I read it in one sitting and can't wait to read the next one in the series.

    Author Jeanie Wolfe is an exceptional great writer. I read her first book in the Starry Hill series and loved the storyline and characters. The author doesn't miss a beat when she writes her books as she is very attentive to detail and makes the story believable and exciting to read.
    Book 2 of the series starts and ends with the protagonist as she is thrown into another unexpected murder right before her eyes.
    As she delves deep into the case to solve not one, but two murders and trying to avoid getting killed herself, she and her new boyfriend rush to solve the murders.
    Great story and ends with another murder to solve in the next book in the series of her wedding.
    I love this author and look forward to reading her next book in the series to read more about the characters and wonderful scenery the author portrays in her books.

    Twisted Fate is the sequel to Jeanie Wolfe's debut, Murder After Hours. Twisted Fate is another murder mystery that manages to raise the stakes from the first book. Robin Ingals and her boyfriend Lee Kellerman (fresh off of getting his criminal justice degree) witness the death of their friend Bailey after she sips some poisoned wine.

    The race to find the killer is on, and a lot of potential suspects are introduced. They're weaved into the story naturally, and the mystery is crafted in a way that keeps the reader guessing. Robin and Lee's romance evolves from the first book too, and it's an element that adds some nice extra flavor to the main story without distracting from it. The climax (which I obviously won't give away) is exciting and heart-pounding.

    Wolfe's passion for her characters and storytelling shines through, and she delivers a story that builds well off the first!

    Twisted Fate is book 2 in the Starry Hill Cozy Mystery by Jeanie Wolfe. I liked that the story picks up about 6 months after book 1. Robin is dating Lee and trying to get over her divorce and his betrayal. I thought the murder was interesting and lots of Bailey's family secrets were discovered. I thought Jeanie Wolfe wrote a quick paced mystery with a surprising ending. I am absolutely looking forward to reading book 3. I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.
