★★★★★ 2023 READERS' FAVORITE 5-Star Review

"Murder at the Christmas Wedding by Jeanie Wolfe is book three in the Starry Hill Cozy Mystery series.
Robin and Lee are getting married at the Copper Chase Resort in Starry Hill at the same time as a Christmas baking competition. As the festivities heat up, the resort smells amazing and nothing could possibly spoil a perfect day. Until a body turns up. Chef Paco has been murdered, and Robin and Lee need to find out who the killer is before they become the next victims. The clock is ticking, and their investigations are turning up more than one secret that someone wants to stay buried. Can they find the killer on time, or is their wedding and Christmas doomed?

Although I didn't read the first two books, I found Murder at the Christmas Wedding by Jeanie Wolfe an easy read. However, I would recommend reading all the books in order. This is an
action-packed story with lots going on and some wonderful, well-developed characters that you will love. They are relatable and easy to like, and you'll be on Robin and Lee's side all the way through. The story has plenty of twists and turns and a few red herrings that successfully throw you off the scent, leaving you guessing all the way through. Reading this book has made me want to pick up the first two in the series to get a real handle on the overall story of Starry Hills. This is a fun read, a real festive treat for anyone who wants to lose themselves in the holiday spirit for a few hours." ~ Anne-Marie Reynolds, Readers' Favorite

A cooking contest. A wedding. A snowy resort destination. What could go wrong? How about a murdered chef and a pool of suspects? A well crafted whodunit that will keep you guessing and reevaluating. Engaging and distincitve characters make this book a fun cozy. And despite being the third installment in a series, it reads easily enough as a standalone so you don’t have to start at book one (although after devouring this you’ll want to read that one too). Lee Kellerman and Robin Ingals have come to Copper Chase Resort in Starry Hill, Washington for their Christmas wedding. Where better to get married, as this place is gorgeous in the snowy woods of Starry Hill. The lovebirds are so excited for the big day. There are also a lot of chefs at the resort to participate in a Christmas Bake-Off. They were all practicing their desserts, so the Resort smelled so good. A few days before the wedding one of the chefs participating in the contest died suddenly. Was his death an accident, suicide, homicide or just natural causes? Who would want to kill Chef Paco? Lee is a deputy sheriff and takes over the investigation since he was already there. Now a snowstorm has been predicted for the area and is preventing wedding guests getting to the resort for the wedding. What more is going to go wrong? How can they get married without their parents and the minister being there?
Now we have lots of work to do, solve the murder, pray that the snowstorm stops, and everyone can get here to attend the wedding. Pray for us all as a murderer is among us and we do not want them to strike again. We have lots of people to interrogate, not only the other chefs but some of the guests as well. There is no better time to get started who do they want to call in first? Lee and Robin are going to work together and get this solved and learn the truth as to what happened and why? It seems with the more people they question they discover secrets, lies and more people to add to the suspect list.
So, who committed the murder and why? Will the weather cooperate so guests and family can get in for the wedding? Can Lee and Robin get married like they planned? This really good book will answer all of our questions and you are going to love reading it.
I got this book from BookSirens and will be happy to leave my review.

Oh boy was this one incredible. On top of bitter snowstorms threatening to postpone Robin and Lee’s wedding, they also have a murder and his high maintenance mother to deal with. I absolutely loved this book. I think it is my fain the series so far.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received an ARC and this is my voluntary review. Wedding bells are ringing for Robin and Lee but all does not go smoothly. A murder happens to the chef who is cooking for the reception. Robin and Lee set out to investigate while Molly and Ed must brave snowy conditions to get the priest to the venue. A great clean read cozy in a wonderful series. This book had action, suspense and plenty of twists to keep the reader engaged. The book is hard to put down and can be read in a day.

This is the third book in the author’s Starry Hill Cozy Mystery Series. After reading this book, I am interested in reading the first two books in the series. If you like romance intertwined in a murder mystery, this book is for you. At 200 pages it is a quick read.

Robin Ingals and Lee Kellerman have made their way to the Copper Chase Resort in Starry Hill, Washington for their Christmas wedding. Several chefs are also at the resort to participate in a Christmas Bake-Off. Days before the wedding, one of the participating chefs dies suddenly. Is his death an accident, natural causes, suicide, or a homicide? Lee, who is a sheriff deputy, takes over the investigation. Now a snow storm is preventing wedding guests from getting to the resort. Will Robin and Lee’s nuptials take place?

I liked how Lee investigated the death and questioned suspects with Robin’s help. Their investigation was hampered by contradictory statements given by witnesses. I liked trying to solve the case myself. The twist surprised me.

Another great ending to a series by author Jeanie Wolfe. I read all three books in the series and she never failed to disappoint me. I loved reading about the characters and knowing what the protagonist, Robin would get into next. This time she was getting married and thought that was all she would do when suddenly a chef was murdered which put her wedding on hold.
She doesn't stop searching for clues until she solves the case, no matter what stands in her way.
I love reading Wolfe's books as they are fun and enjoyable to read as a cozy romance mystery.

Robin and Lee are back, and this series continues its good balance between romance and murder mystery themes. The relationship between Robin and Lee has grown from meeting to the wedding day, but their special day is put on hold when a chef dies.

Robin's good friend is a suspect, and she and Lee have to get to the bottom of it. As if planning a wedding wasn't stressful enough already!

Wolfe has a way of writing characters that are easy to love, and I do enjoy the general wholesome and cozy vibes that her stories give off. As someone who has read all three stories, I can say that Robin and Lee are characters that are easy to connect with.

Murder at the Christmas Wedding is book 3 in the Starry Hill Cozy Mystery by Jeanie Wolfe. Book 3 finds Robin and Lee getting married which is what I have been looking forward to reading about, but, no one expected the chef to be murdered. I thought that this cozy was complex and so enjoyable and I love the characters. Since Lee is a deputy sheriff he is busy helping Sheriff Hastings investigate, plus, Robin just can't stop her sleuthing. Will Robin and Lee get to the church er hotel on time? I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.
