Elf's Cottage Kindle Edition

4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 87 ratings

Holly devotes all of her spare time volunteering, and the last thing she was looking for was romance, but God seems to have a different plan for her.

When a mysterious envelope appears with an invitation for a free weekend stay at Elf’s Cottage, Holly isn’t sure if she should accept it. Rumor has it that these cottages are magical, somehow, and some have claimed their deepest wishes have been granted.

Going means that she might have to face her own hidden secrets and wishes. It is possible they might come true with the magic of Christmas?

And if so, can she ever open her heart again?

The ending to me was fast paced but I will say it was so fitting for the rest of the story and where the book took place but mainly where the vacation was. A magical time of the year cause of course Christmas

This book highlighted the magic of the holiday season and also in falling in love. I loved the idea of the Elf Cottage. A very fun story.

My only critique is that some of the sentences did not make sense. It appeared in one case that the word little was substituted for the word literally. Outside of this, I loved the story.

This is a sweet romance that was a joy to read. The author brings the story to live with her words and you feel like you are there. I loved the beautiful setting and the characters. This is the perfect book to curl up with and forget your troubles for a little while.
I received a complimentary copy and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Grammar and spelling were atrocious. Conversational passages were awkward and at times seemed to be out of order in the progression of the relationship. It was definitely not up to the quality of writing as the other Cottage stories I have read.
