Triumph And Tragedy: Seven Short Stories Kindle Edition

The strength of the human spirit is alive and well in these stories. So too, are fun, adventure, and the power of perseverance. To simply not give up for any reason. Here you will find stories - two inspired by actual events - to make you think, cheer, cry. Who could ask for more? Who could ask for more? A dying child, redemption, and people ready, willing, and able to do whatever it takes to save her life. A future society where Bub avoids beatings and strives to remain Productive because anyone deemed not productive is relocated never to be heard from again. A crying child on a city street whose tears are not what they appear to be. A planet-wide attack before lunch? A dog that commits the perfect murder. A young girl is taught what love is, and the sacrifices it demands. Inspired by actual events. A lost off-world visitor who cures a sick wife. Written over several decades, these stories are now published. Read them. Enjoy them. Think about them.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

I've been writing fiction off and on for years. The short story Shift World was first published online years ago and is included here as well. Fiction is very rewarding and very challenging and much more time consuming than writing nonfiction. So, writing short stories is fun and rewarding.
