Briana is the sheriff of Summit Springs and the absolute last person she should trust, given her history. I loved this story! People banding together to help someone in need, found family, and second chances in life are some of my favorite things. Triss needs a second chance at life and she just might find it in small town Colorado.

    Was a good premise but would have benefited from a good edit.
    So firstly nobody can tell she’s pregnant and then a couple of weeks later (the time it takes for a box to be delivered across country) she’s waddling around and huge. She’s been with the sheriff 3 weeks but had multiple pregnancy checkups with her. How many scans does someone get in the U.S.?
    Also weird that the whole story about the sheriffs ex maybe being murdered and the said box of her belongings arriving just went nowhere. Like the author forgot about it completely.
    Maybe it all gets resolved in another book but I probably won’t ever know.
