There is a cliffhanger and it makes it hard to wait for the next part in the story. The villain in their relationship is Donna but their attraction is off-the-charts!     Wow this is just to crazy, I want to jump Donna. Yes they lied but Lynn should have trusted Trevor and vise versa, they both were to young and almost everybody involved missed this relationship up. The mothers & Nanna was the only ones trying to do the right thing. This just really, truthfully all I can say is damn that is messed up. Donna and her cousin that’s is some twisted up evil mess. For the Love of Money.

    When I saw this release my mouth dropped, it has been a long wait ,and seems to be shaping up to be worth it. This is the blue I started following, the characters and story telling. For me its welcome back Blue, her other few recent releases didn't do it for me or had HER in it.

    I thought this story would have fallen under the addition of the series "ballers" due to Him being Brad's brother.
    Nevertheless, this is a developing story and so it ended in a cliffhanger. This is big and fine Trevor's story I've been waiting for. The foundation of this story is set up nicely so that when part two is out there is no past and present replay I hope, because all the bones are there. That being said , I do felt that the past dragged on way too long and this could have been one read like her other work "where the pieces fall".

    Lynn's character was a bit childish as hell I couldn't believe she was 18 and only 2 yrs younger than Trevor. The destruction of their future came from both of their hands so I'm interested to see how they navigate that when she arrives back home looking like sin and dress to kill its looking like lol. From previous introduction of Trevor with his wife and kids I cant remember his age but he seems to be up there in age so the dream of him wanting a family with Lynn seems dead in the water because she would be too .

    Donna is a villain I would enjoy she played a long and good game and seems to show no signs of slowing down I look forward to her seeing all her schemes reveal.
    She reminds me of these NFL players that has the girlfriend from high school especially those black players with THOSE girls , I always feel some of them was plotted on as soon as they showed promise on the field. Here comes Donna proving my delusions.

    This was a good read , a good prequel to the series . I thoroghly look forward to the next installment.

    I tried...I really did! I liked other books from this author, but this story dragged on too much! I won't finish it, nor will I read the second book in this storyline. I officially stopped at Chapter 28, read a couple more books, and then tried to get back into this one after reading the reviews of the 2nd book. However, I decided to read the low ratings of book one and decided to cut my losses... Seems it ends well, but book 1 was too much of a drag for me to commit more time for the full story.
