Cynthia Woolf is the USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author of eighty-four novels and novellas consisting of sixty-six historical western romances, nine contemporary romances and six sci-fi, space opera romances, which she calls westerns in space. Along with these books she has also published two contemporary novellas, one historical novella, and twelve boxed sets of her books and two short stories.

Cynthia loves writing and reading romance. Her first western romance Tame A Wild Heart, was inspired by the story her mother told her of meeting Cynthia's father on a ranch in Creede, Colorado. Although Tame A Wild Heart takes place in Creede that is the only similarity between the stories. Her father was a real cowboy, not a bounty hunter, and her mother was a nursemaid (called a nanny now), not the ranch owner.

Cynthia credits her wonderfully supportive husband Jim and her great critique partners for saving her sanity and allowing her to explore her creativity.

    I enjoyed this story with all the characters within. The main characters were Willow Adams and Travis Morgan.

    Willow Adams is seeking a safe place to take her daughter and herself so that the bad man won't find them. There is a job to take care of a man that hurt himself in a rodeo. She has her nurse license. She just not sure if she should take the job.

    Travis Morgan bronc rider and is a billionaire. He has been recovering from an accident because of riding a bronc horse. His manager has requested a nurse to come an live with him. So that she can get him in to shape. He doesn't want anyone.

    This was a fun story to read. It has action, adventure and suspense throughout. There were a few giggles within.

    I received a complimentary copy via the author. This is my honest unbiased opinions.

    This one was so much better than the previous book in this series. There was a lot of name dropping in this one but not nearly as much as the other. I was glad the bad guy was done away with early in the book, but would have liked the rest of book to not take so long for them to figure out they loved each other.

    Willow was such a strong woman and good mother. I felt so bad for her and her daughter Mindy that Willow’s husband had died from cancer not long after Mindy was born. I can’t imagine a man stalking Willow and having to move three or four times as the police could never catch him. I was so glad she was called to be a nurse for a billionaire cowboy in Montana. Willow and Mindy had room and board at the ranch while Willow was taking care of Travis. I loved all the people at the ranch who worked for Travis. Travis and Mindy got along so well you could feel the love they were building even though Travis had not been around many children. It was so hard to think that Willow had on her mind that the man who had been stalking her would find her in Montana. I enjoyed watching Willow and Travis grow closer together even though Travis said he would not fall in love. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

    The minute I received this book to review I knew how I would be spending my day, in a chair preparing for another wonderful read and ready to stay up as late as necessary till it was finished.

    Willow Adams is a single mom to ten-year-old daughter Mindy, her husband died when Mindy was just a few months old, and she has only had Mindy in her life. A few years ago, her life took an unexpected turn when one of her patients who she treated kindly like all the others decided she was his. Years of moving, years of stalking and finally when there was nothing the police could do, she home-schooled Mindy to keep her safe. Mindy knew that a bad man was after them it was not something Willow could keep from her.

    A phone call would change her life, a billionaire, Travis Morgan was injured while riding a bronco in the rodeo. Broken ribs, wrist and ankle in addition to the huge wound on his back where the horse stepped on him. Despite his complaint about a nurse, he finally realized there were some things he couldn’t do for himself, clean the wound on his back, give himself injections for pain and then help with physical therapy.

    Willow was offered the position she is an RN with experience in PT and it made her the perfect candidate and her desperate need to go somewhere safe so her stalker, Gordon Simmons couldn’t find her, and Mindy was the answer to her prayers. The salary she was offered would give her and Mindy security so despite her trepidation about accepting the job it was a no-brainer.

    Of course, it was a huge ranch filled with horses so Mindy would be happy to live there forever but Travis promised she would ride horses when his casts came off. Willow was happy with the sense of security surrounding her and the way Travis treated Mindy. She could see that Mindy loved Travis and she was beginning to feel the same way, but he was her patient, and she wouldn’t get involved in a relationship because of that and her fear he could never love her.

    Everything is going well, Travis is beginning to heal, Gordon seems to be in her rearview mirror and Mindy is happier than she has been in years. Unfortunately, men like Gordon don’t just give up and if there is a way to get to Willow, he will find it even if it means harming her daughter. As with all stalker cases police can do nothing until the stalker causes harm a situation where no help is available and men like Gordon roam free.

    Travis likes talking to Willow and confesses to her his fear of ever returning to the rodeo or even riding again. It is a nightmare he keeps reliving feeling every bone as it broke and feeling the horse’s leg on his back, and he finds comfort with Willow begging her to remain at the ranch until her stalker is caught and finding himself loving being around Mindy and Willow.

    A wonderful story filled with wonderful characters and Mindy is ten going on thirty. With everything in her life upside down because of the stalker she is still a strong-willed little girl full of love.
