In this intriguing story about Becca and Grant, circumstances bring them individually to Lakeview Falls, where they find a gentle small town they can call home. I love how the author weaves their lives together, unknown to each of them, as they become better acquainted. A satisfying ending left me feeling like they were my neighbors. A good read!

Two people. Two inheritances. Two houses. One town.

This quaint Christmas story is written in a “narrator” or “omniscient” point of view, giving it an “old fashioned” feel. This way of writing may keep the reader in the dark even when the character knows a certain thing.

Talented set designer, Becca Tate, is unsatisfied with her life. She’s single and seems to never measure up to what her father wanted for her. Suddenly, her world changes when she receives a phone call from an attorney handling her grandmother’s estate.

Grant Jacobs is quite happy working in an antiques store, although he is the caregiver of his adoptive father, who is consumed with grief at the loss of his wife. Grant’s life is predictable until he receives a call that he inherited the estate of his biological grandfather.

Both Becca and Grant now own houses in a small quiet town and are each drawn to their surroundings and the people. The houses they inherit fit their needs and they each desire to make it their new home and a new life. One day, they meet and the attraction is instant and mutual.

Their grandchildren discover hidden secrets from the individual grandparents when all around them a storybook Christmas festivities are happening, including town square activities and tree lighting. Don’t forget the snow-covered landscape.

A smile might tug as you hope for the magical Christmas where love blooms in three couple’s lives. Yes, three. Read the book to find out more.

    I love the cover too!

This author was very good at keeping my interest and kept me wondering what would be happen next. She has great writer’s skill, and I loved the Christian themes throughout.

Becca needed a change as she didn’t like living in the city.
Receiving the opportunity to move to the country was a true blessing and meeting Grant was her added bonus.
Everything about this story resonated to my romantic heart, especially the antique descriptions inside her grandmother’s home.
Loving art, I fell in love with the art studio.
Secrets are found with a mystery related to special hand painted Christmas ornaments.
Other mysteries are woven all through this sweet story. Special little poems also enhance and left me wondering???

Near the end of the story when I read the letter left for Becca, and found with the last ornament, tears sprang to my eyes… Such eternal love.
This story had me smiling throughout. It is so beautiful and full of God’s tender loving mercy.
    Don't miss this one.
