Great book!
Such a cute story about a girl learning about what fall is. While the story itself is great and informative, especially for young kids who are just learning about the seasons, what makes this book so unique is the illustrations! Each page is filled with pieces of nature arranged to make beautiful images! My kids loved flipping though the book and identifying all the objects that made up the pictures.A very creative idea, beautifully done!

    Such a cute book. The illustrations are really neat. The back story behind them is they were created by the author with real leaves, acorns and other finds from fall. Such a cute and creative story. Highly recommend.

    Colleen Driscoll found a very artistic and fun way to use bits of nature to introduce the idea of all the things that happen when the seasons change. She uses seasonal items such as colorful leaves, seeds and other things to create her characters and scenery. Her animal friends show Flora how busy they are when fall approaches. Ms. Driscoll even hid tiny insects and other things that children can search for on each page. A wonderful story with very creative methods to depict the animals that may inspire children to make their own fall pictures.
