Rogue on the Rollaway Kindle Edition
A man out of time. Enchanted by a jealous faery, 13th century warrior and druid Faolan MacIntyre has his work cut out for him. In order to break his curse, he must entice a woman to fall in love with him. His love comes at the highest possible cost, however. . .for the woman.
A woman alone. Rebuilding her life after an ugly divorce, merchandising director Colleen O'Brien lives vicariously through movies and romance novels. When the sexy bespelled Scot crash lands in her living room unannounced, her resolve to never love again is sorely tested. After admitting her love, Colleen finds herself in 14th century Ireland. Now she's scared and alone, until Faolan finds her and they are both pursued by their jealous enemy.
Thrown together by destiny but held together by love, Faolan and Colleen must work together if they are to survive. But for two headstrong people--a man accustomed to giving orders and a woman who refuses to take them--it's much easier said than done.
CONTENT WARNING: Faery magic gone awry, a plucky Irish heroine and a hot Highlands badass clad in a very small towel.

About the author

Shannon MacLeod lives next to an abandoned theme park. A proud member of Romance Writers of America and PAN, her Celtic romantasies include the award winning Embrace the Lace, Rogue on the Rollaway, The Celtic Knot: Suit of Cups (Arcana Love I), The Gypsy Ribbon: Suit of Wands (Arcana Love II), available from Kensington Books. Her tales are filled with strong heroes and heroines, interesting locales, colorful secondary characters, a touch of magick and mystery, loads of quirky humor, a body count, and absolutely no sparkly vampires.
Writing as her evil twin, The Celtic Cross Tarot Spread: Cutting to the Chase and the Shadowfox Tarot companion book (as Jennifer Shadowfox) available from Schiffer Publishing.
When not writing, she lives a life of servitude to three spoiled cats and one entitled German Shepherd dog. She loves rainy days, good music, and long hours spent gazing at her beloved ocean. An avid wearer of boots regardless of season and dangerously high heels, she watches Lord of the Rings more than any sane person should and can, in fact, reenact entire battle scenes using interpretive dance. Her spirit animals are the Honey Badger and Gordon Ramsay.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2014You know those books that make you hug your blankie and breath a dreamy sigh, this is it.
Time-travel is my all-time favorite sub-genre of romance, and I'm a romance aficionado.
Faolan is just squeeze-him-so-hard-his-anime-sized-eyes-pop-out adorable. He's gruff, sexy, sweet, a complete glutton, and funny. I mean, his archetype is a genie in a bottle. Come on!
I'm waiting a 'lil bit until I can re-read this treasure.
Author, please write more of these. I see that you're an Irish/Scottish Highlander fan; I don't mind, just keep 'em comin'. I love time-travel, and I love your voice (yes, I bought and read the other ones- this one is my favorite).
I abso-freakin-lutely love how the hero and heroine aren't hung up on saying "I love you" because of insecurities, traumas, etc. Their love is all-encompassing and awesome. So many authors fall on this clichéd "plot". Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2013I LIKED ROGUE ON THE ROLLAWAY. I HAD NEVER READ A BOOK BY SHANNON MACLEOD BEFORE BUT THE TITLE REALLY INTERESTED ME. I FOUND OUT THAT I LIKED THIS BOOK AND I LAUGHED AT THE CHARACTERS IN IT. I RECCOMMEND THIS BOOK.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2014I thought this book was worth the read, but I can't say it's something new and fresh. It was funny at times, and I enjoyed parts of it, but there were times I thought the author just pushed a situation too far. In reality, the heroin's actions and reactions were often annoying and unrealistic. Let's face it, time travel and fairy curses are not related to reality, but the characters should feel real. The heroin in the story was a total doormat, and that was irritating! Would someone's ex really be allowed into his ex's life to this extent? Maybe there are people like him out there, but I didn't think any of it was realistic or acceptable. I love a good time travel romance, Scottish historical romance, paranormal story, etc., but this just didn't cut it for me. I was just left irritated at times by events. Did I finish the book? Yes. Did I enjoy it? It was okay. I did not, however, look for anything else by this author.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2015i enjoy time travel books especially if the character was a fan of that time she drops into. usually she had to adapt to the lifestyle but it was okay because women didn't necessarily work in the 1200s and it would be easier for her but a man is used to being the bread winner, the protector, the one who supported his wife but not in this book. Having the man come to the future was a new change. It was funny though that a warrior like him took up the role of a woman without bating an eye. i expected some grumbling and indignant ranting on how a man shouldn't be in the kitchen but it was a nice change but it also made it a little too modern.
Still it was a great read and we got to experience both worlds with both the characters

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous
One of my favourite books. Lovable, cheeky, down to earth; Colleen & Faolan are fabulous foils each for the other, with the fun and humour making it so thoroughly enjoyable. Add the Fae, Druids, and magic into the mix, & what better combination of characters and situations could one ask for. This is the second time I’ve read this book, and if anything, I’ve enjoyed it even more.
