Ashley's Gift: A Story of Loss and Self-Forgiveness (Witter Springs Book 1) Kindle Edition
While Jenna struggles silently with guilt, her cousin Lily arrives to offer domestic help. Robert distrusts Lily, who has a police record, but Jenna insists she’s sincere. When Lily and precious belongings disappear, Jenna decides Robert deserves better and withdraws from his affections.
Spouses will feel Robert’s confusion with Jenna’s rejections. Robert, easygoing and quick to forgive, is determined to save their marriage. When Jenna doesn’t respond and Robert loses his job, he falls into depression until a neighbor offers work doing what he loves.
Ashley’s Gift is a story about the healing power of self-forgiveness and understanding; a glimpse of God’s grace in all our circumstances.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2018I found this book gripping and battled to put it down so I could get a few hours of sleep! It was thought-provoking and made me very grateful that my mistakes or lateness never backfired in such a horrific way. I am now going to have to get book 2 to find out how the author is going to complete this story!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2014This novel broke my heart and made me think about the blessings I have and that I should hold family close. It also makes you wonder how you would handle this kind of situation. The lessons in this book are good ones - the love and support of neighbors and loved ones, the diligence we must have as we watch over our children, and the bond we have with our spouse.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2014I so loved this story and hope that there will be another story to go on from here. Sometimes us as parents are late for whatever reason that is just how life goes. I felt so bad for Jenna and can relate to the 'late' part but have never had to go thru the Missing Child part Thankfully. If anyone doesn't relate to this story they either don't have any children or something else. Awesome Job Dianne Andre!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2014This story had me on an emotional roller coaster but in a very good way. The writing was expressed exceptionally well, simplistically but vividly.I loved the character Ms. Sullivan and the leading circumstances to which self-forgiveness was taught.
Ashley's gift has a message for all readers. In one way or another, this story will touch the heart of every human.
I look forward to reading the next book from this author.
