    The fire, it was burning. Yes, it was! What a great story. A bit of Aesop's Fables, Grimm Fairy Tales, and a lot of Blue Saffire. This is a story of a young woman coming into her own. And, wow does she ever emerge victorious. The character development was steady and moved at the right pace. The storyline is interwoven with the previous book but can still be read alone (I recommend reading the first book in the series). The scene descriptions are so vivid I could clearly imagine the smell, the colors and decor. The storyline is complex but easy to follow. The different worlds in this paranormal fantasy are seamlessly intertwined. Like any good paranormal/fantasy/fairytale there's good and there's evil. Loaded with lots of twists and turns, this book takes us on a fantastic journey as the main characters find love, battle evil, build and strengthen familial bonds. I laughed, talked out loud to the characters, clutched my imaginary pearls, and fanned myself (the sexy times were on fiyah...literally). The book does end in a cliffhanger (which the author gave us warning). If the saying "I don't play about my money or my man" was a picture....the last scene in the book would be that picture!

    Please note this is just my opinion. This book was good, however it seemed rushed and missing some of that Blue magic I am use to reading. Time gaps made me feel like some chapters were missing. That fire fairy was no match for the Queen so I dont see how she lived that long. Taylor was a bad ass.

    I forgot about the cliffhanger and when I got to the end I literally screamed!!!! I thought I loved Kendrick and Ray but WOW 🤩! Bradan and Taylor are HOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! The funny thing is that my original plan was to wait for the whole series to be done so I wouldn’t have to stop. But as usual with a Blue Saffire book, once it’s out, I can’t resist🤣🥰🤣🥰. And as usual, never disappointed. So now I just have to wait patiently for the next one.
