Amanda was just a girl from a small town but when a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to her dream college presents itself to her she knows she can't pass it by even if it takes her over 700 miles away from the only home she has ever known. She finds out that her own mother had kept secrets from her, her whole life and as she learns more about her father and his life the closer she comes to the danger that has been lurking near her. A strange man starts stalking her and she avoids going to the police by telling herself it was all a creepy coincidence but everything in her life comes to a screeching halt when she is reported missing. Amanda finds herself in great danger when she is kidnapped and held in a basement. Will they be able to find her and who kidnapped her or will they be too late?

I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful children. Writing has always been a passion of mine and my first story I ever wrote was when I was eight years old, even though the only person I ever showed was my mom I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I had many people help me to polish my skills, such as family, friends, and teachers. As I got older I struggled with depression and high functioning anxiety, writing was my way to escape my darkness and find peace in my own storm. I always loved how writing could take me to far away places that may or may not be real, it made me leave whatever problems I was dealing with and become calm. I will always help my kids to pursue their dreams and never stop dreaming. My dreams and Imagination helped make me who I am and if I can leave my mark on the world as someone who never gave up or help others who struggle with depression and anxiety then I think I could feel at peace with myself.
