I was born in Manchester, UK, immigrating to Australia in 1974. I now live in Tasmania, a small Island state of Australia. I have a background in Equine Industry Management and have lived a full often chaotic life. Though not formally trained, writing has become as important to me as breathing, I do it so I can live.

Lord Have Mercy, is Book 1 in the Mercy Aymes Series. Book 2, Mercy on Your Soul was released in March 2021. I am currently working on a few other books, some completed and others half written. I'm hoping to bring them to publication standards and share them with you in the not too distant future.

    “Sweet, Sweet Mercy,” the long-awaited Book 3 in the Mercy Aymes romantasy series by H. M. Mills is captivating from start to finish! When we first see Mercy, she appears to be a captive of Lucifer, with whom she shares a bond, despite her great love for Talus. Yet, her body is with Talus; she is in an “unwaking slumber,” from which Talus cannot rouse her. And if she remains in that state for too long, her body in that realm could die. Meanwhile, Abigail is torn between her feelings for Anthony and Chayyliel. This book is wonderfully written and just as fascinating as the first two books!
