- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2024Nice clean stories. I really enjoyed all 3 stories. I like 1800's stories of romance. I am hoping for more like tears to be free on my Kindle.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2024Kathryn Leblanc is a fabulous author. There are important themes in her books, depth of relationships, no boring formulas or yadda yadda padding.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2024This is a fantastic boxset! Three heartwarming stories of women that are struggling to survive on their own, while trying to take care of their families. Each makes the ultimate decision to place an advertisement for a mail-order groom. Each couple has their own problems as they try to build a relationship with a stranger and work through their differences, but they each have a happy ending. I loved all the differences in the stories and thought each book was well written with great characters and a unique storyline.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2024I did read these stories individually before.
Pairings one might not expect, especially that long ago, but being a real, caring person, and wishing for a good pairing, can make all the difference in the world. Even if one is... maybe not hiding, but reluctant to reveal all, for understandable reasons. But you must trust the one you wish to spend your life with. (At least that's how I feel, as do they.)
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2024I loved these books. All three are heartwarming with some twists and turns. The ladies all need husbands and it is a challenge for them and the men who they marry to learn to love and respect one another. I would highly recommend them all.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2024Each book in this box set was very good. Nice romance and well written. Very much enjoyed. Each story was very uplifting but showed the struggles the heroine in the story went through before finding love.
I received my free from the author and I am leaving an honest opinion and voluntary review
- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2024Three heartwarming stories gathered into one boxset. The books will fill you with joy, sadness and love. Settling America was tough for everyone, but particularly, single women. I admire their determination and strength.
I read the books in this set as part of an advance reader team and am providing my honest opinion.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2024Each story in this set brings a unique perspective of it’s own, keeping the reader not only entertained but encouraged, knowing the circumstances may vary, but with determination, courage and grit, anything is possible!
