I have resided, in the heat of Las Vegas, NV for the past thirty-nine years. Fifty-two years young, married for twenty-nine years, to my Split-Apart. I finally took my passion for writing seriously in 2012. My first story was published in 2015.
I love rose red and use it in everything, hence the bottle-blonde with red highlights. If my fingers are not busy writing mayhem, you will find me baking or hanging out with my family. When I need to recharge, I'll make a mug of vanilla coffee and curl up with another book from my TBR list.
My goals are simple; my passion is to be a 'Storyweaver', not a teller. I want to weave you (the reader) into my stories, not to escape, but have a sense of belonging. So Shall I Reap, Book One The Unseen Series is the beginning of Tevin and Alexcia's journey. I hope you will enjoy their journey as both of them share their POV of the story with you. See you in the Unseen.
Scythe ya later! x.x

- Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2018Lurking in the Mind is a well-written, graphic tale that is not for the faint of heart. It boasts deplorable situations and developed characters. The two things that held it back for me was the amount of shock-value descriptions, and I felt it was a bit longer than it needed to be. But these are totally personal preferences. I highly recommend if you are into graphic horror fiction.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2017A couple of good stories.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2017This is definitely my favorite of what I like to call the “Lurking Series” collection of short stories put together by Jaidis Shaw. The sea monsters and shadowy monsters are one thing, but there is nothing more terrifying than what we can conjure up inside our own minds. Of course, as with all collections of stories with multiple authors and writing styles, there were some that I liked more than others and only one that I felt made it into the book by mistake (due to the awkward number of errors I found within in), but that wasn’t nearly enough to override how awesome the remainder of the stories were. My personal favorites that I found most chill-inducing or memorable: Postpartum by Savannah Rohleder (this one touched upon a personal fear of mine that I’ve never spoken about aloud before!), Blind Justice by Jaidis Shaw (due to the awesome twist), When I Met Hannah by Shelby Schulz (just overall excellently written and completely believable for some reason), and North Side Asylum by Lily Luchesi (creepy and terrifying to think about). It’s great to read horror stories that don’t rely merely on gore and shock value to bring the horror into the story. Loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2017I especially loved Amber Hassler's and Kathy-Lynn Cross's stories in this anthology. The characters are rich for short stories and they leave you with just the right amount of, wait, what? Love the psychological intrigue!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2017There were a couple of well written stories in this book. Unfortunately these were offset by some really bad stories - horrible writing, ridiculous situations or both. Those that did not fall into one of these categories were, for the most part, mediocre.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018Good book interesting stories, can't wait to see more from this author a great way to pass a weekend especially if it's raining. Worth checking out.
