The Master of the Switch (The Girl with the Gray Eyes Book 3) Kindle Edition
*The spellbinding conclusion of The Girl with the Gray Eyes.
I’ve escaped one monster, but the real monster, Bill, is still at large.
My enigmatic alpha leader, Tanis, is distant. My playful alpha, Garren, more so. Then there is my sweet beta, Red, giving me mixed signals. One moment attentive and caring, then the next, cruel.
And none of them are touching me in the way I crave, as all of them struggle with the parameters of sharing.
Bill’s warmongering becomes ever more aggressive in his quest to destroy Tanis. The risks he’s prepared to take are extreme.
The Armageddon switch could destroy all technology and civilization as we know it. If he finds it, Bill’s desire for revenge might just be enough for him to use it.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2023I loved this trilogy. So much happens in this last book. It’s so fast paced with so many moving parts that I had to read it twice! The last 25% of the book was nonstop full speed ahead. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride and then just dropped over an edge, there was no slowing down to see the sites or where the dust settled after everything was done.
There were things that I would have liked to have seen before the end though.
Also think Bill got off too easily. He deserved to suffer a bit more. Maybe keep bringing him back with the medical scanner and starting all over again.
I was really hoping for a Coco and Javid reunion. There was lots of discussions about their connection and I really wanted to see it on page. I thought for sure Theo was going to be added to Hannah’s harem. His attention towards Tanis and Hannah brought a lot of tension to the story at times.
Really the only thing I wanted more of was of their future as an epilogue instead of it being about Joshua. I wanted to see where they all ended up maybe like 10yrs later after everything. How the world was rebuilt and functioning. There was also lots of talk about breeding and Tanis having his junk fixed, Red too, so to see if they did have kids in the future would have been a nice close. I feel like there was a missed opportunity there.
Overall this whole trilogy is 5/5 ⭐️’s. It sucked me in and I couldn’t wait for the next one in the series to be released so I could find out what was going to happen next. This will definitely be one series I will read over and over again!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2023Loved the story lines, though wished for more questions answered. A missed opportunity, unless another series is in the works.
Since I was so invested, I expected a more thorough conclusion. It makes for more of a WTF ending.
Still glad I dived in.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2023This is the third book in the Girl with the Gray Eyes series and L.V. wraps up the story of Hannah. The series comes to a satisfying end and you see where all of the characters end up. Throughout the series LV has created a detailed world and elaborate characters. This story is not a standalone and you must read the first two to understand what is going on here.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2023Worth the wait. The power struggles between all the different factions involved was epic. I really loved the way all the threads of the story were knitted together to bring an exciting, momentous ending to the tale. Loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2023Ok, that series was a little different than I'm used to. But it's still pretty decent due to the ever-constant storyline moving forward with no stalling of the plot.
However, that being said, I gave this final book only 3 stars due to the fact that as soon as I reached the final page I quite literally said: "WTH, where's the rest of it?! There's no way that's the end of it!" To my husband(who just kinda laughed at me).
I mean, I know the author said it wasn't a love story, but then WTF was the point of dedicating so much time to Hannah's romance with her men if you don't give them a conclusion in the epilogue?!?
Secondly, why would you even hint at the parents' history & the gray eyes but not give any further explanation?! That part really drove me nuts!!
Lastly, there is NO WAY Bill would spend 10+ years trying to get revenge on Tanis & then just give up because he suffered a *NON LIFE-THREATENING WOUND*!!!
I'm sorry, but that sealed the deal on me removing 2 stars. Other than those 3 points, the storyline was really good. I did like how it kinda hinted at shifter qualities. The whole, planetary travel aspects were also neat. I just couldn't get past those 3 key aspects of the storyline I mentioned above that fell flat in my opinion...
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2023This is great writing. Amazing, complex characters and story. Loved this series and made myself slow down and relish this third book knowing it'd be over too soon.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2023I could not put it down. The character s were color, I cried, laughed and cried some more. I'll definitely read again.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2023This novel had incredibly good world building, top-notch characterization, and deft relationship development. The plotting was also tight and exciting. I also appreciated this novel’s length. I just wish the author would write her fantasy and sci-fi romance novels this length instead of the novella length she generally limits herself to when writing in the romance genre. The only negative about this really good novel is that I found the ending a bit of a downer, though I cannot really pinpoint why. However, it was a fast, gripping read.
I received a free copy of this book, and I am voluntarily writing this review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!
This trilogy is the best I've ever read! Mind you I'm exhausted! The twists, turns, and complex plot made the books hard to put down. She really is clever so many characters, situations and constant dangers leave you breathless, and just as a favourite character is plunged into an impossible situation, she switches to another group left in a dangerous position previously and you are left on the edge of your seat, wondering if any of them can survive! There are so many different and engaging characters, to begin with in totally different places, plot threads running everywhere, very complex, but this master of story telling gradually pulls all the threads together and ties them in a nice near bow. I have one gripe: the ending. I was looking forward to the four mates finally coming together to breed. They didnt! In fact we don't even know if Red went through with the fertility reversal. One complaint in such an epic tale. Don't miss it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just WOW!!!!
This is one of the best romance series I've read!
The characters, the world building, the story, everything was just amazing, I couldn't put this or the two previous books down.
I wish there were more books in this series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Underwhelming
Let me start by saying that I love L.V.Lanes Prey series, I have read every book multiple times(first read on KU) and have subsequently purchased them, and pre-order every new release. I’m glad I didn’t buy this series, and only read on KU, because I will not read it again. Because I’ve enjoyed the Prey series so much, I started to this series, and I really wanted to love it. Story wise it was good (I managed to read book 1 & 2 in about 3 days whilst sick), but this last book dragged on, I just want it to end. But, when I got to the end my first thought was WTF, where is the rest of it?! There was so much character building so many POVs (which was sometimes confusing) but some plot areas were closed off badly or not at all (trying to avoid spoilers)I still didn’t fully understand what exactly happened to cause the main antagonist and the hero to become enemies (what was explained just seemed like a silly thing to warrant such extreme behaviour from both parties). Whilst it was a HEA of sorts it ended abruptly and I didn’t feel like the story was actually closed with lots of loose ends and side characters that you never found out what happened to them. Not to mention one side character that seemed to have a complete arc that just fell off a cliff (another antagonist that started stuff but then no conclusion), and was just left, nothing. Very frustrating from a normally excellent author, don’t know what went wrong with this one. I still gave book 1&2 4 stars, the spicy science were hot, the heros were amazing, I also liked Hannah, but just feels unfinished, almost like all the different threads felt to much and it was, ok just going to wrap it up now, can’t be asked to finish it properly. Would have been better to remove a bunch of side character POVs, as the story would have made much more sense without them and would have been a better length and given space to properly wrap up characters such as

If there is a follow up book, I would suggest the addition of a authors note so that we are not left frustrated

5.0 out of 5 stars The best series LV has written yet
A fantastic and exciting story. I couldn’t put it down. Sad that it’s finished. Thank you LV Lane. I’ll wait patiently for the next story.

5.0 out of 5 stars To describe this series.. GAME OF THRONES X 100 & ON CRACK!!
One of my most favourite authors! I LOVED the sex scenes they were explosive! The 5 stars was for the love scenes. BUT too many characters, too many plots, far too much back and forth between insignificant characters! I actually had to go back and read parts over and over to even follow the storyline. Next book please take all those fabulous scenes in the ENTIRE series and put into one book..... IT WILL BE A BEST SELLER!!
