Second chances are another opportunity to get something right, but what if you already made the right choice the first time? Second chances can be tempting; after all, the grass looks greener on the other side. As humans, we are always thinking about the what-ifs. What if I had chosen differently that time? What if I said no? Sometimes, we fail to consider that the choice we went with was the right option.

Taylor masterfully weaves a narrative around Erica, a young woman who, without knowing what the future has to offer, has been living her life in a carefree manner. She has a job she enjoys, a good relationship with family, and she feels no pressing pressure about life in general. However, after a harrowing experience, she realizes that she has just gotten a second chance. What will she do? Will she make the same choice she made the first time? Or will she make another choice? The choice is hers!

The book is well-structured. Additionally, it holds the readers attention from start to finish. The author masterfully employed first-person narrative, which enabled readers to form an emotional connection with the protagonist. It also drew the readers into the story. I love the natural progression of the story.

The author's expert use of flashback ensured a seamless transition of events that unfolded in a way that did not confuse the readers. I recommend this book to young adults and adults who enjoy a simple and suspense-filled book. This book has an engaging storyline, which leaves readers eager for more.

Have you ever seen something in a different light the second time you looked at it? Have you ever changed your opinion of someone or something after the second interaction? Sometimes, people tend to take a second glance at something that caught their eye or take a different route or perspective after seeing how their original plan would unfold.

Vicki M. uses her short book, 'Second Glances Second Chances,' to educate readers through an amazing story.
She tells a tale of second chances, love, and chance encounters. It follows Erica, who is given a rare opportunity. Although she is initially confused, she is quick to make a choice when it becomes clear. However, the question remains: Did she make the right choice?

I loved the author's expert use of flashback to create a connection between past and present events without making it difficult for readers to follow the plot. I wasn't so pleased with how the author failed to add depth to the characters. Although the protagonist is the character who plays the most active part, I believe adding a bit of nuance to the supporting characters would have made the book more engaging.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because of the little hiccups I had while reading. Nonetheless, these dislikes, however, didn't really take away the general appeal of the book.

The words used were easy to understand. The author arranged the story in a sequence that flows naturally and in a way that is engaging. Although the author fails to flesh out the characters, and they feel one-dimensional, the intriguing storyline keeps the readers invested throughout the book.

It is a thrilling and engaging novella that hooks readers from the very first page. Erica's journey, waking up in a bewildering situation next to a stranger, is both gripping and relatable as she navigates a whirlwind of confusion, self-discovery, and determination. Set against the vivid backdrop of the Florida Keys, Ms. Taylor's descriptive storytelling immerses readers in every moment, making you feel like an unseen participant in Erica's life. The narrative is fast-paced yet layered, exploring themes of destiny, fate, and choice with a sharp focus on character development. Erica's resilience and the choices she faces will leave you reflecting on how you might respond in her shoes. This is a must-read for anyone who loves a story that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining. Ms. Taylor has crafted a captivating tale that is both unforgettable and impossible to put down.

Loved this book. It kept me wondering what was coming next. It is a rather short book, like a extra-long short story. That being said, Vicki has taken a rather interesting idea of "what if" and makes you think about the choices you make. What would you do if you had a second chance? Would you chose differently or go with the first choice?
