My name is AdELA, and I’m a children’s book author and musician. While music has been my primary career, I recently embarked on a new creative journey, inspired by my two beloved dogs, Hunny and Koko.

Hunny, who passed away a year and a half ago, left an indelible mark on my heart. I wanted her legacy to live on in a meaningful way, and that’s how the Hunny & Koko series was born. These stories are a celebration of the love, joy, and hilarity they brought to my life. I’ve taken our silly real-life adventures and adapted them into a mix of heartwarming, real-life, and whimsical, imaginary scenarios.

Through these tales, I hope to share the special bond I had with Hunny and Koko, while inspiring young readers to embrace love, friendship, and a sense of wonder.

    So the entire concept is super cute and really great for kids who are getting their first haircut! Also all of the animals are awesome and the storyline is funny. Would recommend for kiddos!

    It's a great story for introducing kids to getting their hair done! I loved that Honey had some really big hair and Koko just wanted a small change. The book also introduces you to a couple other characters who are also at the salon getting styled.
