Originally, Echoes of Change was conceived as a single book. However, my friend Jose Montalvo gave me valuable advice. He suggested that a single, comprehensive book might be overwhelming for those who are navigating the spiritual path. If you are reading this, it's likely that you've already journeyed through Echoes of Change—Look Up and Begin, which covered days one through ninety. This second book in the series continues that journey, offering further insights and guidance.
Echoes of Change—Keep Climbing will cover days ninety-one through one hundred and eighty-one. While I received feedback to make the books seasonal if I were to break up the original work, that did not make good sense. A person can be in the middle of Summer with blue skies and still be struggling. Therefore, the books will not be seasonal, nor is there any particular time of year to start reading them. That is because everyone starts their journey out of the Abyss and begins the climb up the mountain in their own time. We cannot dictate when that happens, nor should we force anyone into a time-line mold. We all approach spirituality differently and for different reasons. All I want to do with this series of insights is provide my daily reflections as I walked the Path of Spirituality for one year. Perhaps they will help you, the reader.
I am not one for hope. Hope is something for those who cannot control their destinies. By reading these pages, I believe that you will find some common ground to stand on as you walk day by day. I believe that once we climb the mountain, we begin to control our destiny. We are no longer the puppets of Fate.

Sean Paquet is an author, investigative journalist, and freelance writer who lives and works as an American Expatriate in the Philippines. He retired from active duty military service in 2013 after 24 years and was then a private defense contractor in the Middle East until 2018. Sean is from a small town called Carp Lake in the Northern part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. He grew up loving to read and write poetry and had enough promise as an artist to consider it full-time until he decided to join the military.

Sean has always been interested in the weird, unusual, and strange things that exist on the fringes of our reality. His interest in heathenism, metaphysics, meditation, and out-of-body experiences led him to publish his first novel, A Game of Gods, in June 2020.

His second novel, The Jarl's Shadow, was released in January 2022. It explores metaphysical concepts and personality disorders while maintaining a science fiction/fantasy backstory of unimaginable alien forces lost civilizations, and conspiracy theories.

His third book, Conversations With My Demons, is a collaborative effort with renowned Australian occultist and writer Angela Kable. In this third book, deep messages regarding addiction, trauma, and Spiritual Awakening are explored at length, along with numerous metaphysical and esoteric concepts.

Sean's next series of books is called Echoes of Change, which chronicles his daily insights over one year while reflecting on the Spiritual path. It is a journaling and reference guide for those struggling and seeking something to hold on to.
