The reprisals are wicked and truth hurts.

    The story opens strong and finishes strong. I imagine this story will touch someone on a personal level, with the supporting cast of characters all relatable in some way, dealing with different kinds of turmoil in their later years. I know several of my friends who have similar stories, and I was happy to recommend this book to them. The topics are handled with grace in my opinion, and the humor is well placed. This story overall is entertaining and has a nice balance to it.
    Less of a romance novel, more of a relationship novel, but it works for me. I highly recommend.
