A BEAUTIFUL TEXAS HILL COUNTRY RESORT. HER VINTAGE CAMPER AND DOG.
A MONTH-LONG VACATION.
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

When Mamie West accepts the temporary job of managing Hayden’s Resort Campground office and store, she is excited. Not only will she be back in Magnolia Bluff, but also closer to Officer Nick Vandegan.

But soon after she gets her vintage camper set up and her dog Stella settled in, a body is discovered in one of the RVs.

While police scramble to track down a suspect, another woman is murdered, leaving a little dog homeless and other campers fearful.

Meanwhile, a motorcycle rally gathers at the resort, and a little girl’s hedgehog gets loose—not once, but twice—with Mamie ending up caring for it.

Is a Mexican cartel responsible for the murders?
Can Nick keep Mamie safe?
Will she survive another kidnapping?

April Nunn Coker began writing at the age of 10, but it was many years until she saw her dream of having a book published come true. She spent 30 years in public schools as a teacher and administrator while raising her two children along with her husband and cheerleader Jimmy, whom she recently lost to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Her first book, a tongue-in-cheek guide to saving money at Christmas, was written in response to an especially hectic holiday season where she exhausted herself spending and doing way too much. Her next three books, inspired by her husband's life as a zookeeper, are romantic suspense novels centered around the lives of several zookeepers who find themselves in danger from animals and people. Soon to be released is a companion children's book based upon one of the characters in the novels.

April is also a freelance writer who has written articles for professional education journals, teacher magazines, and a society magazine. This busy lady resides in East Texas with her Boston terrier Stella and spends her time writing, glamping, traveling, tutoring, thrift shopping, and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Murder, She Glamped by April Nunn Coker is an absolute gem of a cozy mystery! When Mamie West signs up to manage a campground in Magnolia Bluff for a month, she expects peace and nature; not murder. But on her very first day, a body turns up, kicking off a chain of events that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

From a fun S'mores party gone sideways to a lost dog and yet another shocking murder, the story takes off at a breakneck pace. Together with Howard Story, camp caretaker, Mamie teams up with Magnolia Bluff police officer Nick Vandecan to untangle the deadly mystery. Just when you think you’ve caught your breath, a kidnapping sends things spiraling into a heart-pounding climax.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotion, from laughter and suspense to moments that tug at your heart. And yes, there’s a little love in the air too, adding the perfect sweet touch to all the intrigue.

If you're a fan of cozy mysteries with strong characters, unexpected twists, and a setting you’ll wish you could visit (minus the murders!), Murder, She Glamped is the perfect escape. Highly recommended!

April Nunn Coker's MURDER, SHE GLAMPED, is an exciting read, to say the least. Widowed in the recent past, Mamie West relies on her faith to move on with her life. And what a life it's been! After having been accosted and kidnapped a year earlier at the Hayden Resort, she returns there as the resort's temporary manager only to go through another living hell. With the help and protection of her new boyfriend, a police officer she met the year before, Mamie relies on her wits and faith to help her survive her new harrowing experience. Mamie West is a survivor, and the author's seamless telling of the tale was a genuine pleasure to read. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.
