    I don't know where to start with this brilliantly written book about Gray Dennison, front man for the rock group CrAved and the two women who love him.
    Have you ever had a relationship long or short and due to timing or circumstances, it couldn't go anywhere? But you never forgotten that person and had the chance years later to reconnect, only to discover things have changed and people move on. Gray had a mind blowing five week exclusive relationship with Hettie Lawson during his last weeks at a college in Miami before returning to his home in the UK where his band is about to get off the ground. In his eyes, she was perfect in body mind and spirit and
    Hettie's POV on how she got the most gorgeous, charismatic man on campus is a mystery she never wants to solve and while they both agree this has an expiration date, the morning Gray left and the way he left had long lasting ramifications for both of them.
    Five years later and the band has relocated to New York and are enjoying the rock star life,especially Gray, after the death of his only steady girlfriend Lizzie back in the UK, Phoebe, the best friend of his band mate's wife, was there to help him pick up the pieces by becoming a really good friend and "bed" buddy. Gray's a heartthrob and makes no promises of more to Phoebe than what they have and she's that much of a free spirit to understand him at the time, but when the label wants them to go to Miami for promotion Gray breaks his own rules and takes Phoebe along.
    This is where this story became fascinating for me. Gray is not your typical
    Manwhore, he gives his all to the women he is with and treats them with respect and all of his attention, but he's about to discover that's not enough to keep from hurting them. Why isn't it enough, he can't help not feeling more, or can he. Gray tries to understand himself, more than once throughout this book but with the encouragement of a chance encounter and words of wisdom from those who love him, he is on his way to self discovery that goes way back.
    This book kept me guessing throughout on how this would go. I loved everything about it and although it has a very satisfying ending, wish there would be more on the other characters that made this a beautiful bittersweet read.

    Gray Dennison is lead singer for CraVed, an up and coming rock band on the rise In the U.S and UK. Gray is every woman's dream sexy, hot, talented ( and yes he has a British accent "swoon") although he has his fair share of girls commitment is not Gray is familiar with and we get to witness the real reason for that which stems from his past.

    This story although being about a rock star has so much going on with angst, love triangles and finding your own self through healing.

    While coming to America Gray finds himself in need of getting in touch with his college sweetheart Hettie, who he hasn't seen in 7 years since he left to go back to the U.K. to pursue his singing career, this is where the story has me glued to my seat while we watch the story unfold and how his current friend with benefits Phoebe played an integral part in this.

    Years have past, both have gone their separate ways trying to go about life and both very successful but the chance meeting and current situations that they are in had me holding my breath and wondering what will come out of this.

    I will say this story was a bjt long but it was written perfectly. KL gave us in detail all that was needed to complete the full affect of why Gray was the way he was and how he came to the realization of how his life was meant to be and with who he really was meant to be with.

    I absolutely loved the banter between the band mates, they had me laughing out loud with the constant back and forth teasing.

    There was hurt feelings in this story my heart hurt for everyone involved especially Gray but in the long run True Love always prevails.

    I highly recommend One Clicking this book a definite 5 Star read.

    The story wasn't bad but all the sex this guy was doing and not thinking of the women he was with. It was past 60% of the book before you knew he was in love with anyone. As for the person you say you love that the last girl you were involved with you wanted to be friends, oh come on,no way would I want my husband friends with someone he was sexually involved with. May make great writing but reality I don't think so. He was hot and heavy and all over the internet with Phoebe. So a continued relationship with her would be very uncomfortable I would think. Sadly it took him eight years to get his life together.

    Gray admits that he has feelings for his current bed buddy, Phoebe, but tells her it’s feelings not love. Phoebe supported Gray though his grief in loosing Lizzie, who was close to but didn’t love. When Gray is in Miami he decides with encouragement from Phoebe to contact Hettie.
    With Gray’s bandmate realising that he has issues and should see a counsellor, he takes their advice and start to work on his issues to try to work out his feelings, realising he needs to know what love is and to work though his past before he can move forward with anyone.
    After working out his feelings after many months Gray decides to contact the one he knows he’s in love with and let her know how he really feels. Ends with an amazing HEA.

    WOW what a journey! Another fabulous story from K L. Shandwick. You are captivated from the very beginning with Gray and Hettie, they are beautiful together you can feel the passion and chemistry they share but as their five week relationship comes to an end you can only wonder what will this mean for both of them... is this the end.
    Gray is a rock star, his career is keeping him very busy with his band CraVed. He has phoebe in his life, she's been a constant support and they do have a connection but it's never quite enough for Gray... something is missing, this in time ends up causing all sorts of problems. This is just one of the many issues Gray has to deal with.
    Six years have passed and a visit to Miami gives Gray an opportunity to connect with Hettie, the anticipation builds for all concerned you don't no what to expect it could go one of two ways.
    Seeing each other after all this time just confirms what they've known all along the chemistry and passion is still there, nothing has changed in that respect but as Hettie walks away it would take another two years during which time a lot happens but on a positive note Gray gets answers and the help that's been long over due.
    Gray and Hettie held out for each other, he can tell her he loves her now because he knows the true meaning of it... it was there all along but he just didn't know it then.
    There are so many beautiful touching moments but let's not forget the very emotion scene between Gray and his mother... very sad.
    This is another big read and as always brilliantly proportioned and when you think you've heard all the beautiful words that come from this superb author she surprises you even more. When Gray told Hettie what he thought of her that very first time on the beach as he tried to impress her with his singing and guitar playing it was just stunning... he was already falling in love then.
    It was never the end for Gray and Hettie, they were always meant to be...it's all about the timing.
    I've said this before... I didn't want this story to end and that is how I feel about all K L. Shandwick's stories... however it took eight years for this beautiful ending.!
    Thank you and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next.!

    I love a rock star book but this rock star had me so frustrated with him in the beginning but then Wham! I couldn't get enough Gray I finished the book in hours not days it was gripped me and I wanted to find out what he was going to do about his crazy life. What woman would he finally throw the towel in and admit his life was going to be changed forever.

    That was how good the book had my mind thinking who is he going to choose?

    The book had some amazing hot raunchy scenes like of the pages steamy! Gray was not just a rocker he was a sexy drool worthy drop dead Gorgeous hunk of a man, I loved that he wasn't a young guy and he had his troubles past and present. That made him more real and I loved his band they had some amazing crazy mad things to say and I had quite a lot of laugh out loud moments along the way. The band made me think that the guys are real this must happen in real life?

    The characters felt so real I wanted to hang out with them. The women were so in love with him he was hard to stop wanting or drooling over. Gray is the guy who you want to meet when you have a fan girl crush and we all have them, not just in books but real life to. I now have a fan moment with this book and will not forget this rocker.

    K L Shandwick is an amazing author I loved all her books they consume me with the passion that she writes about I don't want to finish the books because it's hard to find another great read after hers. Highly recommend all of the author books.

It shows the true talent of an author when, as you read their words, you feel as if you are inside the mind, heart and soul of the character, This story grabs you from the start and does not let lose until the final word. I read this in one sitting, then went back and read the entire book word-for-word. This is not by any means an easy read, It is not all love and roses, it is real life, it grabs you by guts and asks tough questions. Anyone who has struggled with what love means, and what is real in life will identify with Grey and will understand his struggle,I did.     I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. I love the way this Author grabs your attention from the first page and keeps you glued until the end. It was a very late night for me when I read this, I couldn't put it down and there was no way I was going to bed until I had finished. I got a lot of feels from this book and I do love a book that can make you feel!
    Gray is a hot hot hot rock star but he is a complex character and one you need to definitely meet. The time has come for Gray to make some decisions, to face up to his past and deal with things. There were a few times I wanted to hurry it along, but I think it was me just being impatient and wanting things to happen sooner than they did. If you like rock star then this is the book and author for you. K L Shandwick has to be my all time favourite rock star author.
