This was haunting and thrilling with dark sci fi and fantasy overtones throughout. Each chapter could be it’s own stand alone story, but you can tell it’s intentionally written to also connect a web of an over-arching universe with hidden connections offered to astute readers.

I’m still haunted by this book. Immediately I was plunged into this book’s world and characters. The events were so exceptionally mysterious and intriguing I had to read the next page to find out more! Sci fi done right, with enough world building and description to be a sweeping epic in a compact novella. I want more from this author!
