WOW...Blown away by The Beginning After. Written as only Kiersten Modglin can. Once you start it, you won't be able to put it down. You will be compelled to find out how all the twists and turns get resolved. Love the personalities of her characters. There is so much going one but yet it feels as if its real. So many lies and secrets with every page turn as the story deepens. Will Peighton ever know the truth of what really happened to her husband, Or will a cop hide it under a rug? this book was awesome and I look forward to reading many more works by this author.

If It Walks Like A Killer (The Carolina Killer Files Book 1) was a mind blowing could not put down read for me. Kiersten Modglin had me on the edge of my seat with every emotion pouring out of me as I read this book. If It Walks Like A Killer was a delightful surprise in that there was not a readily identifiable suspect from the start. Much to my pleasure, that trend continued throughout the book and as the readers learned things along with the characters, things slowly fell into place or so we thought. This book has so many plot twists just when you think you know bam it has you guessing again. This is probably the longest a book has been able to keep me guessing in quite some time.The writing style is so smooth and readable and the story is so good that time just flew. The characters were wonderful and the plot definitely held my interest. I highly recommend this book.

Kiersten Modglin writes suspense books with a tad of romance and a lot of magic voodoo that hooks you into reading more! Also, she has a way to hold the reader until the last page is turned, that ability in an author is amazing! Go ahead and forget about trying to figuring out the “who did it” part. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, she pulls the rug right out from under you over and over. Now The Healer is book 2 in the Messes Series, this book can be read as a stand-alone. The Healer is Jesse and Quinn’s story. A roller coaster of love, denial, heartbreak, finding one’s self and so much more. I could not put it down, I devoured it in a single night, with a book hangover in the morning.

by Kiersten Modglin What can I say, I was sucked in and held there until I turned the last page at 3 am. Even though it ended I wanted to keep reading. The characters so well are written that they felt real. This book gives you all the feels, as it pulls every emotion from you. Just when you think you have it all figured out, bam a major twist is thrown in. Regan and Gunner what a path that life has them on. That is all I am going to say as I don’t do spoilers but I will tell you this. This is a 5 ++ star book and if romantic suspense is your favorite then this book needs to be on your shelf and kindle. I would recommend this book in a heartbeat.
