BIOGRAPHY

KD Sherrinford was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire. and now resides on the Fylde Coast with her husband, John, and their four children.
An avid reader from an early age. KD was fascinated by the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. She had read the entire Sherlock Holmes Canon by age 13.
Visiting the Sherlock Holmes Museum on Baker Street inspired KD to begin her first novel—Song for Someone. Writing about Irene Adler has always been a passion; she Is such an iconic character." Song for Someone" is a Semi-Finalist in The Chanticleer Book Awards in Romantic Fiction and received critical acclaim from Book, Viral, Goodreads Readers Favorite, Literary Titan, and The Historical Fiction Company, describing " Song for Someone£ as a literary masterpiece. The novel is also a proud recipient of The Editors Choice Gold Seal. The second book in the Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler Romantic mystery series, " Christmas at The Saporis", is available now. as is the third in this fabulous trilogy" Meet Me In Milan." All 3 in the series have been reviewed by Peter E Blau, the head of The Red Circle of Washington, and marked as books of interest by the District Messenger, part of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. In addition, the trilogy has been Longlisted by The Ciba'sSeries Book Awards for Genre Fiction." Song for Someone" will feature in Stephen Doyle's Sherlock Holmes Annual Review next January. I recently completed a short cosy mystery to be included in The Malice, Matrimony and Murder Anthology that will be published on the 13th of November.
