BIOGRAPHY

My love of literature began in early childhood as a way of escaping my vastly abusive family environment. I began writing poetry to alleviate my anger and allow myself to dream. It was and has always been my saving grace through myriad stages of my life, from serving in the military to finishing my education and later becoming a mother. I have two wonderful children, Enrique and Anabella. Writing is what keeps me grounded through it all.
