About I'm a very young at heart (although body does like to complain & disagree a lot!) avid reader (I'm NOT an author) of anything crime, thriller, suspense & mystery related. Sometimes I like the detailed crime scene descriptions but then I also like a cosy mystery where you get to use your imagination. It depends on my mood - surprisingly, if I'm angry or upset I will read a mystery but if I've had an uneventful day then there's nothing like the excitement of a fast paced thriller, is there? Can you guess what most of my days are like now, following early retirement?

There's nothing quite like the chills
That run up & down your spine
From detailed scenes of kills
That come from a serial killers mind.

Crimes from the past, in history
Supernatural suspense & mystery
Police procedurals & real life crime
All seek my attention all of the time.

I love to read but I need to be impressed
By the characters, the places, a well told tale
I like to check in as a weary guest
But check out as a paid up bibliophile!
