BIOGRAPHY

Hello.
I am a 48 year old lady, living in the UK but travelling soon.
I wrote my biography in 2018, after taking my abusive father to trial and seeing him sentenced to 16 years.
I want to reach other victims of child abuse and help them in their journey of healing.
This has also helped me to start to recover from the past.
I am an animal lover and love to be outside, cycling, walking hills or swimming.
I am a people person and believe in always being kind and always have a back up plan.
Thank you for reading.

      • My sister Jenny, I want to hug her, to have my sister back so we can build the relationship that was denied to us by our mother and to have the chance to share my journey with her through the trial and telling the world what we went through.
Rosa Parks to tell her she mattered, she was strong, she is a hero of mine and that I am very proud of her.
One of the suffragette ladies for the same reasons as Rosa, but to also thank her for changing things for women.

      • I'm not sure if readers know the extent of emotion that comes with writing your memoir, if it isn't a happy ever after life you are writing about.
It is terrifying at times. Reading my own story for the first time made me sick with anxiety, it has gotten slightly better but I don't often read through it, I don't need to, I know how it went. x

      • I read all of my reviews and always thank the writer for taking the time to review. I get a lot of strength from the good ones and the bad ones (only a couple) :) I just have to accept that my genre isn't for everyone.

      • I wrote my memoir to reach other victims of child abuse and to give my late sister the voice that she never had.
After surviving a childhood full of abuse and successfully prosecuting one of my parents I knew I had to share my story and that it would help others.
