BIOGRAPHY

Hello! I am an author and audiobook narrator. I live in the East Midlands in the UK. I’ve had the amazing opportunity in 2021 to be funded by Arts Council England and Santander Grant schemes to develop my creative practice and progress my freelance work. This has allowed me to write and publish my debut novel with storytelling and a twist of personal development. As part of the project I learnt how to narrate and edit my own audiobook. I’m looking forward to continue to learn as I release my second book in the series.

      • Publishing my first book in audio changed my process of writing more than publishing in kindle and paperback formats as the written word sounds completely different when read aloud. Even if an author doesn't plan to release an audiobook I would suggest reading aloud to pick up improvements for writing, especially dialogue. Now I am on my second book in the series, I have more stages to go through and each one I hope improves from the last one.

      • I did, and I still do see writing as a career. I remember entering writing competitions and jotting down novel ideas when I was young. I have a written bucket list where I have been able to tick off 'Write an anthology' and 'Write a novel'. I am now writing and performing a mystery series in kindle, paperback and audiobook with storytelling and a twist of personal development.
