I was extremely privileged to be one of the first to read this book as an alpha reader and proofreader. I absolutely love the story and was harassing Trisha for more 😂 I fell in love with the characters (well, most of them anyway!) and the world building was so good I could picture it as if I was there with them all. This is a really well written book with a great plot and I can’t wait for book 2 to be ready for me 😁💜
Heart of the Hunted: A deliciously dark, romantic Snow White retelling

Eek! I’m so excited to be able to share this review with you all. Where do I start? I absolutely fell in love with this dark and twisted retelling of Snow White, I think it’s an incredible adaptation with surprises and twists throughout. Autumn Snow is a kickass FMC who doesn’t need saving and actually saves some of the other characters more than once, including Sahlyn Asher, the huntsman.

They join forces with the dwarves to rise up and kill the evil Queen Amira but have a separate adventure before they can do it, with amazing consequences, and gain the everlasting trust and respect of the remaining dwarf population.

I really love Autumn and Sahlyn and their burgeoning relationship as well as Argen, one of the dwarves, who has a great attitude and is also a fantastic warrior, and Esme is really sweet too, another of the dwarves, although we don’t see a lot of her. I didn’t like Amira but then we’re not supposed to because she’s evil 😂

Fans of modern retellings will love this, I’m sure. Everyone should read it when it’s released, it will be on KU for anyone who subscribes.

Trigger warning - there are sexual references and scenes as well as mildly graphic violence in the book.
