I’m a Christian wife of 27 years, mom of 3 adult bio children and 2 littles we adopted from foster care. As a survivor of child abuse I understand the low self-esteem and other struggles that affect just about every area of life into adulthood. I also understand that vulnerable children are most preyed upon by sexual predators.

Raising children is hard for any parent but without a healthy family history and the support of healthy family and friends it is even more difficult to know how to parent without fear of repeating abuse cycles. God turned the negative parts of my childhood into a passion to break the cycle of abuse in my own family and to help others create new, healthy legacies for a stronger future as well.

My activity book, Raising PEARLS encourages parents and caregivers to interact with their children using affirmations, conversation prompts, activities and paper dolls to Prepare, Empower, Armor, Restore, Love their children and give them Security within their family so that they are less likely to seek love and affirmation elsewhere.
