Jerome is a Marine Vietnam combat veteran, Author, Consultant, and former Superintendent of Parks, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He landed at DaNang on March 8, 1965, with Bravo Co., 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, 9th Expeditionary Brigade as an Automatic Rifleman; PFC Infantry Grunt. Age: 20.

Jerome returned in 1967 as a Sergeant and served as Intel Chief for the 2nd Bn, 3rd Marines.
