BIOGRAPHY

JL Park is a 36yr old mother of 2, from beautiful New Zealand/Aotearoa in the Southern Hemisphere. When she's not working as an RN, she can be found playing with her children in the sun, or immersed in the worlds of her writing. She has 15 or 16 tattoos, a number of these being literary quotes - "Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost", and "If, by my life or death, I can protect you, I will" just to name a few, for the Tolkien fans.

The Alexis Chronicles is her first series, with She Wore Black (Book One) published in Jan 2019, and Black Phoenix Rising (Book Two) coming in May 2019. Book Three will complete the series later in the year.

      • I work fulltime in my trained profession - a 40hr week, and currently am studying to further myself in that career. I also have two small children - so my writing work schedule is a lot of late nights! I usually wait until after the children are in bed, then enjoy an episode of a favourite show, then get stuck in to writing or studying or both!
