BIOGRAPHY

I love to volunteer with Make-A-Wish® since they granted my own Wish to meet my hero as a kid. All proceeds from my "Thumper's Adventures" books are donated to the foundation to help ensure every eligible child gets their Wish.

I teach high school chemistry and co-direct the plays at my school. In my free time, I love to scrapbook, act, and travel (mainly to London and Disney).

      • Not doing anything for the "write" reasons (I couldn't resist the bad pun).

        My first book (hopefully books soon) are fully supporting a charity near and dear to my heart. I don't write to make money or get rich/famous, but to better the world (either through entertainment or raising funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish®). It seems like most people just want to make a quick buck or get ahead.

      • Force yourself to keep writing. Even if you don't get much down or end up throwing it all away, just WRITE. Write your observations of the world, your goals, your dreams, what you are thankful for. I make a point to write everyday for at least a few minutes. Just keep swimming and eventually you will get where you want to go.
