She goes on adventures with Ogs, Ugs and Ails.
Born in Ireland many years ago, her life has taken her on many exciting journeys. She has 3 amazing (but very grown-up) children, for whom she wrote silly, nonsense stories to help them learn to read.
Helping people and animals to learn, has been a passion all her life but while the pandemic brought that part of her career to a juddering halt, it has given her that precious gift of time to revisit writing for children. As a scientist, she uses proven science to make learning easier in all her work but most especially in her books because the gift of reading is of major importance and a huge life skill in the development of young children.
What's an Og? is her first actually published book and it is soon to be joined by others in a collection of books for young readers.
