My childhood was full of adventures! It was filled with love. I was able to travel the world (I have traveled to Jamaica, Bahamas, Canada, and many states in the United States: Florida, Ohio, New York, Indiana, Connecticut just to name a few…
Was becoming an author something you always planned on doing or did you have other goals as a child?
Becoming an author has been a beautiful journey & allowed me to share meaningful experiences with others. As a child I always wanted to reach others in a positive way and being a children’s author has been a rewarding goal.

Name one fictional book-world you'd love to visit or live in.
hmmm….let’s see…The Adventures of Ellie and Eve: Ellie Meets The New Baby😉… the truth is I would love to live in any fictional book that incorporates meaningful lessons: inclusion, positivity, kindness and love.
Who was your inspiration for the character of Ellie?
My daughter Elise was my inspiration as she went through those emotional changes adapting and adjusting to a new baby sister (Eve) who is also one of the inspiration characters.
Do you have any opinion on the term "Generation Gap"?
I think if we use and apply specific tools & strategies to increase our understanding and communicate positively to reach all generations it can be meaningful.

Shalini Saha did my artwork for The Adventures of Ellie and Eve: Ellie Meets the New Baby.
As an author, what kind of pressure or stress do you get from writing?
As an independent author, I have managed to bring my first book with less stress as I was in control of and had a team of support helping me bring this book to life. I tried not to stress as I do accept changes and learn that it’s for a good reason something is delayed or postponed. I take it all in stride and make positive reflections.
What are some ways you find ways to have fun being an author even though it is a very demanding job?
I create events and even participate in events so that I can meet families and share our stories.
When writing novels, is it better to have daily time-spent-writing goals or words-written goals?
I think setting goals is important and having time to work on those goals is key. For me, setting specific time daily to write works for me.
In what ways do you aim to enlighten, entertain and educate with your writings?
I aim to enlighten through realistic stories that are meaningful and resourceful for children, parents, and educators. I entertain by using simple 4 line stanzas that have a rhyme and a lesson to make a positive impact on children and families.
How does it feel to be an award-winning author?
It’s a wonderful feeling to be recognized as an independent author for any award. I am grateful.
Is there anything from the past you wish you could do differently? What is it about?
I accept all my past as a learning experience. I would not change it because it has made me a better person as a whole.
What are some of your plans for the future? Are you working on a new project at the moment?
Yes, I am working on the series of The Adventures of Ellie and Eve with book #2 which I plan to release later in 2022 with a Kickstarter campaign & will need a lot of support from all my supporters.
How has your experience of being associated with AllAuthor been?
